I lost my device with google authenticator, now I cannot sign in to anything. I know my e-mail and password, yet I need a google authenticator code, which I cannot get, and if I try to get into the 2FA, it asks for my authenticator codes, which is don't have! What do I do?

Same problem! But mine is not lost but factory reset. Even though I know password, I have mobile number and also it's logged in on my PC, still it's not letting me logged in without 2 step verification. Very bad service! They should restart the 2 step verification when phone is factory reset.

Hello! I have recovered all my email with the Google accounts recovery link. Just search it online and type in your Gmail and passwords. It doesn't say to 2 step verification and directly logging in your account.

Will the authentificator stay the same if you hvae an Iphone backup and you use it on the new phone? Or another option if you saved the qr code of the authehtifictor , can you use it again?

Google Authenticator app is good. I recommend it. Just be sure you save your codes in Google Drive/Cloud. However, I also recommend Microsoft Authenticator app. Same as being sure your codes are saved in its Cloud.

Hello, I recently exported some of my account from Google authenticator and now there's a message on top of the app screen saying "accounts were recently exported" but this message will not go away. How do I get rid of this message? Do I "reset 2step verification "? Having this message on the screen all the time can be confusing since you don't know if was you exported or someone else hacked into it and exported afterwards.....please help!

That notification is always showing up because of the security measures in the app. After you exported accounts, you are advised to RESET the 2SV or 2FA to change the connection key/barcodes. It is to secure the apps from external access. Once you do, the app will know you are back to safety and it'll stop showing the notification. Yours, Design Slider Tech

In your case the Authenticator app it’s just under the phone that you have. In my case I have the phone number. What I do in this case?

I changed my phone earlier today, got a new phone, the dude at the store did everything, transferred all my data by bluetooth from my iPhone SE 2020 to my new iPhone 15, everything looked right, snap, insta, discord, photos, notes etc, I didn't check youtube and google authenticator, I should have, he then reset my old phone. Initially I was going to keep my old phone but they were buying it back for quite a bit of money so I said screw it, now I'm screwed... Do you think I can go back to the store and explain my problem and try to reinstall the app or is everything gone?

1. Be sure the Gmail account you used for the Google Authenticator app is THE SAME Gmail account on the device you are using to solve the issue. 2. Be sure to TURN ON "2 Step Verification" on your Gmail account. To do this, go to your Google profile > Manage Account > Security > How to Sign in to Google > 2-Step Verification ... Complete the steps. NEXT: Come back to follow the steps in my video. It will work for you.
