Love this. I’m in massage school and I’m always looking for more stretch techniques to incorporate in with my massages. This is perfect. I get ball players and many runners also weight lifters so I can truly help more with stretching

Absolutely. Soccer players have very similar injuries and pain patterns since there is so much running.

Im a massage therapist also. I wanted to let you know your techniques are fantastic. I love the work you did with his calf and how you held his achilles tendon when you rotated his foot. I had a client that was a runner yesterday preparing for a 50k. I'm going to look through your channel, but I'm looking for videos for knee work. Question, his rt knee was having the issue but his left glute minimus was having pain rather than his right. Do you think this is from compensation possibly? He is a trail runner.

I'm just wondering how you know it's not enough pressure? There's a huge misconception that massages have to be extremely painful to be effective. But if it's too deep the client, and the fascia, cannot relax. As a seasoned massage therapist, I've learned that find balance. I go deep when I need to. Also I do mention that this is the type of massage you would get post competition (Hence the name recovery) I would give a different massage to help with injuries and pain.
