Interesting insight from Autumn here. Really liked what she said about the 360 degree lighting approach. Some of Alan Clarke's films employed a similar technique so that the actors and camera operators can move around freely. It's a very liberating way of filmmaking and I sort of wish it was used more often. Not every image has to be beautified.
@@kolecava Well it depends where you're shooting so you can't really choose 25 or 30 fps. As I understand it you can pick between 25 and 24 or 30 and 24 (or slo-mo). It's dependend on the electrical system you know.
@@danielhanslik4112 I think it's merely, USA 60Hz circuitry 24p, EU with 50Hz at 25p or compensate with shutter angle. But essentially that's the case, location dependant. Then 29.97/23.97 for broadcast.
This channel is awesome, but you should check Indy Mogul because in the recent months they are putting out really useful videos about lighting. Really onteresting ones. And also Wandering DP channel is amazing and full of information, and Hurlbut Academy by d.p. Shane Hurlbut. I also like Spencer Sakurai and my last finding, Andbery. All here on RU-vid. I am sorry I gave you so much homework! 😅
