With some extra time on my hands I thought I'd slip over to the 'Cove' for some early Sunday morning peace before the storms forecast for the week began. I somehow feel a person can 'store' up relaxation for those moments when daily stress makes generating some peacefulness 'on the spot' more challenging. A visit to the Cove can certainly stock the emotional cupboard with some good stuff!

If you're worried about bears, get some bear spray, learn how to use it, and keep it close.

By my right hand is a holstered Mace Pepper-Gun that shoots a streak 25'. The 'stream' allows me to pinpoint the target area rather than a 'fog' that might blow back into my face. There is only enough contents to spray for a steady 7-seconds, but a short burst or two can be very affective rendering a predator irritated and hopefully distracted for about 45-minutes before fully recovering.
