I appreciate that Chris. Not sure what more I need to do to attract more viewers, but in the meantime, I just do my best to control what I am able to control and that is the content. I always aim to produce content I like to watch for myself.
@@RADGarage i think some people like to see products review and some crazy dirty car wash! But your style is beautiful. I Iove the editing and the music!
Yes, there is definitely a healthy audience for product reviews. It's just not something that appeals to me on a personal level. I just like using the channel to capture the things I do in my garage. Just keeping it simple.
What a RAD video, seems like they get better and better, probably because they do. Awesome work on everything from the car to the editing. Keep up the RAD work!!
Thanks Mike. Gets challenging trying to incorporate new techniques into the videos, but it's a challenge I welcome. The amount of time I am spending on the filming is getting a bit out of control though. What used to take a few extra hours is now taking a much more substantial amount of time. Worth it, though. Talk to you soon.
Glad you enjoyed it. I like to put an effort into these so I can sit back and enjoy them myself.

Notification that you uploaded video, ear-to-ear smile, turning on 65” TV to see such a masterpiece. Congratulations. In upcoming videos I would like to see more indoor cleaning images of those super cars!
I do enjoy interior detailing, but sometimes I just don't have enough time to complete one, let alone film one. This car's interior was in very good shape, but I'm sure there's more interior detailing content on the horizon since our city has a way of wrecking interiors!
Thank you! I really enjoyed capturing and sharing this satisfying detail session with viewers. The car is just a perfect amount of refinement and muscle. I love it.
Devil’s Blood is amazing. Fireball’s coatings are top tier for sure. The rest of their lineup of detailing products are some of the best on the market. I love their stuff.
Thanks. While the paint on this car was far from perfect, given the circumstances and timeline, I feel good about how it left me. It is now coated with a high quality coating and it will have a good level of protection while it continues to face the brutal winter road condition up here in the Great White North!
The Fireball coating is one of the best I have ever worked with. It provides so much colour saturation and is so easy to work with. I am sure you will be happy with the results on your own car.
I just started detailing some cars on the side. Word of mouth has been in my favor so far. Consuming as many detailing videos as possible to help expedite the process without cutting corners. Video was very helpful and fine work sir! Thank you very much! I also have a Prism Silver 2013 RS5 :)
I'm glad you found this video helpful. My aim is to showcase the artistry of the detailing process, but if people can pick things up by watching my work, that's a huge bonus! Good luck with your side gig.
I am going to perform a wash of my own car using a variety of TACSYSTEM products this weekend. Those Fireball products were really good. They'll be sticking around for sure!
Hit cup of coffee, 75" Samsung 4k tv.. 👌👌 what a stunning outcome Rick. That red is absolutely beautiful! It looks like you really enjoyed the Fireball line. As always, great video ✊.
Yes, the Fireball line was a lot of fun to play with and the results were incredibly satisfying. Might be my new favourite line up of products. Talk to you soon!
Good morning Rick! This was really enjoyable to watch, from the tire cleaning (my fav), to the new products I've never heard of (amazing), and seeing the finished product under your new lights. Amazing!
@@RADGarage I think it's because when you clean a tire, due to its close proximity to the ground, you can always see how dirty it is when you start to clean it. You can appreciate the cleaning process more, whereas with washing the car body, there isn't that same visual if that makes sense.
I had an 2013 A4 Avant S-Line Black Edition in Misano Red, I'm now luck enough have a 2018 RS4 in Sazuka Grey, but watching this vidoe makes me wish it was Misano Red as well. Keep up the good work. It's a pitty the camera can't fully bring out the metalic and show how beautiful this colour is.
You are so correct. The sheer brilliance of the Misano Red makes it very challenging to capture the true level of colour. It is just soooo bright! I had to play around with the colour balance for each video segment because sometimes it looked orange in the camera. Still, a stunning colour just hard to capture. I am a huge fan of Sazuka grey. I saw it on an R8, but not very common over here. Is there a place I can get a look at your RS4?
Rick I've sent you some images via your web site contact form of my A4 and the RS4. The Sazuka Grey is an odd colour rather like the Misano Red it seems richer with the pearl in it, the only thing with the grey is the lightest dust on it and it goes flat unlike the red, but in the sunlight when its clean, wow! Another thing with the Sazuka Grey is at dusk in the right light it does actually go light grey. I hope you enjoy the pic's
I just saw them. Wow. That A4 of yours looks like an RS4 as well! Great spec on both cars. I'll check out the pics a bit more and email you back. But, woooow!
Amazing job Rick,I'm very happy to see your videos. Maybe I'll make some video too, because I really like what you do! Thanks for good work and I'm w8ing for another video :)
Another awesome selection of music making for an enjoyable experience watching a quality detail process Rick. Looking forward to all of your videos in 2021 my friend.
Hi Rick ! I wish you a very happy New Year. Nice ten hours job done on this red beauty. Thanks for sharing. Wish we soon be in a safer period to be able to chill around and see family & friends again... Take care bud 😎 Gregg
One of my favorite coating duo's! Unfortunately its become harder to get fireball down here in the states since I can't go through Carzilla anymore, and fireball US kills you in shipping and trying to get certified is next to impossible! Amazing video as always Sir!
I think that Audi looks pretty dam good! Sometimes we don't have control over what happens to our car's paint? I know my poor car was only a month old and i had gone to the grocery store, came out and some idiot rammed a cart into my door and now i have a little dent! But this car look amazing!
Another amazing job Rick! I have the extreme pleasure of going into my own garage to see the fabulous results but I think I prefer watching your video on my TV instead. :) I don't want to take it out on our miserable roads now but I'm anxious to see how the Devil's Blood treatment handles our Calgary slop!
That's what you get for going after a "daily driver" of this caliber! But, somehow, I can't imagine you driving anything less. Let's get it in for a maintenance wash at some point and show viewers how that coating performs!
Rick, Happy New Year to you and your family, wishing everyone a healthy and safe 2021. The Audi looks stunning. How did you like working with Fireball products? I made my first order from Carzilla, and yes, I used Radgaurage for 5% off; thank you. My only issue my order want to be here until 8th Jan and my new 2021 BMW 330i M, all detailed and covered in my garage, waiting for the coating to arrive. Thanks for sharing your passion/art.
I really enjoyed each of these Fireball products. It is a line I will continue to get to know and experiment with. Congrats on your first Carzilla order! It's a bit of rabbit hole so be warned! What coating system did you order?
@@RADGarage I decided to go with Artdashine ceramic metal oxide coating (2 coats), then I’ll follow up with Tacksytem Top Coat (2 coats) I am putting Ceramic Pro on Wheels and Calibers and also Ceramic Pto Leather.
Thanks Rich! I hope you are happy with that T-shirt. This new way of doing merchandise is way more convenient on my end, but I have no real idea of the quality of the items since I'm not at all part of the production.
@@RADGarage ...t-shirts are great. Look, fit and feel good. Hoodie wasn't a heavy as I thought it would be, but are good for the not so cool nights here on the beach. All-in-all, it's all good.
Yes, there were a few blemishes that developed through daily use between now and when the correction was completed back in October. For the sake of time and cost, we were willing to overlook them and just go ahead with the coating. This is life. It isn't always perfect. Happy new year to you as well.
Another excellent production Rick. I hope the teaching isn’t getting in the way of your real calling 😂😎. I’m loving your Audi work and its made me lust after a late model A3 or S3 cabriolet. Any problems you know of with these models? Lloyd
Oh, me too! Dave and I did a quick water test, pouring water on different parts of the car and it was incredible. I should have incorporated that into the video, but you have given me a great idea of doing a maintenance wash in the very near future. The car will be needing it regularly since our roads are so messy right now.
I love this video! What a great way to start the year of 2021! How are these Fireball products? Would you say the iron burn is better or worse compared to say carpro ironx? What's the power and smell like?
I was really impressed with the Fireball line up of products I tried out on this project. The Iron Burn didn’t really face a challenge since this car was so clean. I’ll have to try it out on a different car to see how it truly performs when up against a real challenge.
Hello Rick. Greeting from Vancouver BC. Love your video. Are you able to tell us what video equipment you using behind the scene. You have great video recording there. Love your work
Thanks so much. I don't actually have a lot of gear. I'd like to expand, but for now, I use a Sony a6100 and a series of tripods, dollies and sliders to get the fluid shots you see in the videos. I am thinking of upgrading the lens on the camera, but I'm pretty happy with what I'm able to get out of this limited arsenal of A/V gear. Thanks for the message.
Смотрю из России, то что Вы делаете это потрясающе. Есть передача "спокойной ночи малыши" для маленьких детей, а это для 30-ти летних, перед сном самое то. Удачи!
Subscribed! Love how relaxing your detail videos are. I do have a legitimate question, though. Do you work on your cars in the garage with that flooring? How does that work?
That flooring is the #1 reason working on cars in there is comfortable and satisfying. It allows the water a place to go so I am always working on a dry surface. I put a lot of info about the floor together on my website, including links to various RU-vid videos about how it performs and is maintained: www.radgarage.ca/floor.html
Are the benefits of the hand primed bubble sprayer(?) chemical activation, savings of amount used per application , or something else completely? Great job as always!
perfect work! but in the end of video i was waiting that red rs5 will slowly goes outside in snow, mud, under the nature lights. i think it will be a good contrast outside!)
Yeah, that would have been an extra touch but the skies go dark here around 4PM and Dave picked it up in the evening. By that time, I was all done with the video. Maybe next time...
thats alot of snow i hardly see snow here in Queensland Australia that much cause we are in the tropics and its our summer, but down south gets alot of snow tho. looks white and fluffy
We had one particular snow storm that blanketed our city with more than 50cm of snow. Some people are still digging out from it. Usually, you don't see a big snow accumulation in Calgary. We get dry, westerly warm winds that melt it quite quickly. It was nice for the Christmas holidays though!
Thanks Tony. I don't let the foam sit too long. Probably somewhere in the 5-10 minute range. Sometimes, when I'm filming a specific spot, it may dwell longer than that, but not too long.
On my own car in the winter, I use it straight up. In the summer on other peoples' vehicles, I usually go with a 50/50 mix. I think you can go even weaker with it.
Yes, I did a complete paint correction and polish on this car a few months back. We decided to just give it the most thorough cleaning possible, and go for the coating. There were a few blemishes that had developed since then, but given the fact this is a winter daily driver, the decision was made to let them go. It is now well protected for the winter conditions ahead.
Rick, the Audi looks better than a brand new car... How did you like the Devils Blood?? I noticed that you didn't use your Adams rolling stool... Did you break it.. lololo Staying RAD...
Haha. I used the stool, but for some shots, I needed to clear the space so I didn't trip! I really liked the Devil's Blood coating and I'm glad I have a lot left over to use in upcoming projects.
How dare you??? LOL Not sure what to say. This is where I'm at with my musical vibes these days. Some of my older stuff wasn't copyright free, which could account for the difference as well. I'm trying to use only copyright free material now from artists that have agreed to let me use their music. Which video had you jamming in the old day?
Fantastic video. Very impressed. I'm writing in from India and prepping a new car for my first ever installation of Devil's Blood. How long does the coating take to flash? Is it possible to do a whole hood before starting with the levelling or the coating needs to be applied on small sections, say 1/4 hood or half door? Not getting a satisfactory response from Fireball India, so thought of asking you. BTW. I'm a certified installer for IGL, Carpro, Artdeshine and Puris Jade.
Thanks for the compliment. I think you will love laying down the Devil’s Blood. It is a quick flasher but it will depend on your environmental conditions. I always start with a small patch just to test for the optimum wait time. I did the hood in two sections iirc. It is a very easy and satisfying product to work with from my experience. Best of luck! 😈🩸
I can't really speak to that since I haven't been able to keep a close eye on the performance of the Fireball coatings. I know they are doing well in terms of longevity and when I perform maintenance washes on those cars, they seem to be holding up very well. TBH, I am very skeptical of any product that claims "self healing". Apart from some PPF's, I don't really buy in to that. What is your experience with them?
@@RADGarage nothing yet, we have just been approved for the line but that's ine property that was intriguing me. They do mention self healing with a heat gun... We will see soon enough, thanks for the reply and the usual Carzilla coupon.
You are very welcome. I have a very good feeling you will love working with the Fireball line of coatings. They are amongst my favourite to install. I do need to try more of them.
Excellent job Rick, as always. How do you like the Fireball Si02 Satin Tire? I am highly interested in that product. I like a satin finish and the fact it has Si02 for longevity is great.
It was awesome. I didn't particularly love the way it played with the PPF though. It immediately hazed up and took some aggressive buffing to remove on the film. Other than that, it was really nice to work with. The slickness once the Typhoon went on was unreal. Dave and I did a little water test when he picked it up and it was insane.
Rick your impressions of this product compared say to Adams which you have used in the past? Especially the snow foam and why is product on email request basis when not too long ago it was offered straight up on Carzilla website?
I believe the Fireball coatings are only available for professional use, not sure if that's always been the case. At any rate, I really found each Fireball product to perform well and you can't argue with the results. The Snow Foam was incredible. I might even go so far as to say it was better than the much-loved GSF by Koch Chemie. I'll definitely be using it again soon.
Hi John. That particular pump sprayer does not have different tips. It just has a an adjustable nozzle. I was surprised first time I used an all-in-one wheel cleaner and saw the bubbly mixture it produced. I actually really like the bubbles and find them effective. Here's the link to that sprayer if you want to learn more about it: carzilla.ca/products/ik-alkaline-15l?_pos=6&_sid=2447a9b32&_ss=r&ref=RADGARAGE
