It's mind games. RBR are fast, no doubt, but they know theyre in trouble with reliability and the power unit no doubt an absolute beast, unpredictable. People calling the season already, far far to early ya drive to survive newbies! Never rule out Lewis, especially with the powerhouse Mercedes backing him, McLaren is e lpokedjmpressive at times, people seem to be forgetting these are new regulations in their first season, just a shame they effed up and changed the regs when he previous were the most entertaining then ever before, certainly more so then these first races, slow and boring sums up every race. Expect the same for the rest of the season. Ps I am a williams fan before you tards who know nothing about the sport jump on me as some Lewis fanboy.

prob there will be budget cap, but when it crash it not counted, when there will be so many street circuit with no run off, if budget crash still in budget cap, no body will race except 3 big teams

@@manutdfan_2369 Of course not. All I'm saying is that crashes should be budgeted separately from car development/upgrade budget. Not always is a crash a driver's own fault, like the Hungary 2021 start. Teams shouldn't be blocked from upgrading because the crashes ate into their budget cap.

@@nagarajansubramani maybe chrashes caused by a different driver/team should be excluded from the budget, but if someone crashes because something on the car broke, or the driver makes a mistake, that’s something you should consider into the budget Or if you go over the budget, because of a crash you have absolutely no fault for, you won’t get a penalty or just a small financial penalty

@@nagarajansubramani if you have a driver, that crashes often, just don’t upgrade his car, just the one the other driver has and use the money saved on upgrades for the crashes Actually it is quite simple If you go over the cap by half a million for a crash you didn’t cause or could not prevent, you won’t get a huge point reduction or something that influences your results in the championship

Take a front wing, if the teams had to build the exact same wing , what would be the cost differences? they are not buying them, so there is going to be a difference in cost, in hrs and proces. I am an engineer, I can have parts made at different machine shops, the cost of the machining varies. based on how the machine shop is configured and the people and so on. what one machine shop might be able to do for 10 dollars , another shotp might be 15. my problem is that I do not see how the teams have the same cost per operation. Haas as hundereds of emplyees, Merc 1ks. you bring up tech, this can lower costs substancially depending on the process in question. So the dollars do not go as far from team to team.

last year's wreck probably cost a lot more than you think because they didn't nee to rebuild that chassis because it was the last year of it. just cost of the power unit.
