Very good referee but you can see why many referees decide to call it a day when they constantly cop the abuse from over-emotional players. Our local federation as just announced an increase of ref payments, for 2023, by nearly double that of the season just passed. Their attempt at getting new refs and retaining the experienced refs.

agree with all the comments about great refereeing. on national events been told twice by different assessors/ref coaches that try to keep foul counts fair and similar. which is so stupid. this game is the great example. not all the fouls are cautinable and not all the touches are the fouls.

Blue team is the definition of escalating. Black team had almost all clean tackles, but blue team feels cheates by ref and tackles back tenfold. Then continue to complain about ref playing favorites. Blue was cheated from a penalty tho, that studs first tackle was reckless, but all their shenanigans leading up to that play probably makes a ref more likely to believe blue player was diving.

You boys out there in Canada play some kinda style.. it’s almost like rugby but still football/soccer and you can thank the refs when things get rowdy they shouldn’t let players use there arms like I’ve seen on much of these clips. And Im not hating im just sayin a bit different than of Europe like Spain, England and even in the US and Mexico. I almost immediately knew this was different. If I had to hate on one thing is the fact y’all got like 10 cameras, one for every angle on the pitch which i think is pretty dope but hating because we only have maybe one or 2 that’s it lol.. unless it’s a big final there’s maybe 3 😅
