ME TOO!!!!! Maybe to see the unique dialogue/interactions and more graphic killings but the High Honor story is way more enthralling and more fitting to the story Rockstar was telling.

I chose the greed ending with low honour, and personally it's my favourite. Coolest setting, best fight, most dramatic death for Arthur. Best part is when he tells Dutch how he fucked it all up for Micah

i love how dutch has nothing to say. all those speeches and literary quotes, and faced with the reality of his actions, he’s speechless. the best he can do is remove himself from the situation. even in that moment, dutch is still choosing the most self-serving option. by walking away, he doesn’t have to really face what he’s done to arthur, and he doesn’t have to be around micah, who he know suspects has been a rat the whole time, and if that’s true, he’d be in danger around him.

With high honour, you get to see the man inside of Arthur rather than the giant. In those endings the giant finally loses, and Arthur is free. He was neither a good or a bad man, he was a victim of what he held most dearly and never could have. His mother died, his father died, and he was only 11 when Dutch came into his life. He did only what he knew. The thing about good and bad is that it entirely is subjective. We set morals that sometimes people carry as a collective but sometimes its something an individual carries. In this era, what we may consider immoral, may not be the same as it was back then. Bad or good, black or white, right or left.

Worst feeling is the fact that the horse I used wasn't Arthur's horse, the one you get early one in the game. Because I got it injured and didn't have horse reviver so I had to kill it to spare it's pain. But Arthur still thanks the horse. 😭😭😭😭

I really feel that the ending you get by having high honor and helping John Marston makes the game. It makes Arthur's sacrifices feel completely worth it. And maybe in the end Arthur was able to see that he was a good man after all.

When I first played through this, I teared up when Arthur took the time to comfort his horse as it died and said "thank you" for it's sacrifice. I don't know, I guess because I'm an animal lover that got to me, but also because he and his horse spent every moment together, and went through it all together.

The voice acting for Arthur was incredible. When he said Dutch's name after they decided to leave Abigail behind he really sounded like Dutch's son. His voice had so much fear and dissapointment in it. It was really impactful to hear a man like Arthur Morgan sound desperate like that.

Played through with bad honor but I started doing alot of good honor stuff at the end. Like helping them natives to the best of my abilities and helped john get out at the end and helped sadie and all. Felt really impactful actually. I got the ending where micah shot me getting john safe but I was so close to neutral honor I really didn't mind. Felt like that was Arthurs penance for all the shit ive done, then played john out with max honor. good god it made the epilogue so satisfying

A small detail I noticed about the low and high honor "help John" endings. I compared the shot of Dutch's face during both versions of when Arthur says "You know it and I know it" about Micah being a rat, there's actually a difference in how he looks at Arthur. His expression is technically the same, but the rain that kicks up in the low honor version makes his expression look more disgusted and angry than with high honor (and no rain), where Dutch actually looks remorseful and conflicted. Plus, low honor is sharper quality, while high honor is softer, warmer. What a wonderful little dynamic moment.

I've said this somewhere before but one thing I wish there would be a choice for Arthur in the loan sharking mission where he contracts TB where you don't get the disease from Downes and leave them be, then following through with high honor, Arthur survives through the final confrontation and meets back up with John, from there you can switch between the two in the epilogue but Arthur canonically moves on with his life before the events of the first red dead, Arthur was too good of a character to be killed off in my opinion, but it should go both ways as to why he was never mentioned in red dead 1, either having died/killed or moved on from his rdr2 story

The amount of little possibilities to have happened in minor story missions could lead to even 4 more endings than the ones shown in the video, making the total amount 8! I wish if that was possible in some sort of way!

Absolutely disagree, the whole point of Arthur's death is to show that he lived as a bad man, but died as a good person. Regardless of your choice. It has redemption in the title for a reason.

@@martincruz4845 Obviously but the redemption he looked for wasn't from other people, it was self redemption. The only way he figured he'd have redemption was by giving Marston and his family a new chance at life. So in this particular case, redeeming himself meant he pushed himself to death to give other's a new life. Also its called Red DEAD Redemption, so obviously the main character has to die for their redemption.

The point is to redeem himself by robbing the men who did him wrong, and trying to kill them. Also, going for the money fucks over Micah even more so that's a big plus, Arthur rips into him physical and mentally

The one thing I prefer about the low honor ending is that, during the ride to Beaver Hollow, you can hear Hosea's voice, which was one of my favoritr characters, whereas with high honor, you don't hear Hosea, but other ppl's voices

The first time I played I wasn’t even aware of honour. I got the ending where Micah shoots him. I was so freaking mad and disappointed of myself after seeing the good ending which was a million times more satisfying lol. After finishing the game, I happily restarted and played it with good honour.
