@@nibbabenis93 He wasn't a wimp, he was softened by everything going right for a while, when ross took his family hostage clearly he just toughened up, its already obvious that john is way more impatient and serious than Arthur
Yeah I agree, but Arthur was bad in his own way. Even if you did the honor ending he's still killed lots of people in his life and was loyal Dutch. But he tried to do good, despite his life as an outlaw
@@grimfate6612 Everyone is bad in their own way. It's learning from your mistakes, harboring regret, and working to repair what you destroyed that makes a good man.
@@grimfate6612 Well it's like my man Paarthurnax said. "What is better? to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?” Arthur realised his evil and tried to be good. That's some Red Dead Redemption.
Its really sad that Charles and Sadie said their final goodbye to the Marston family. They should do dlc of their own story. Maybe during before or after John's Death
I could imagine that that is something they purposefully did so they could start up on that if they wanted to. How cool would that be, Sadie being an absolute badass in South America and partaking in some revolution and Charles as a benevolent family father in Canada with a very troubled past maybe that eventually leads to a double life like half father half assassin or something.
@@chuggon7595 You’re probably right. Especially for Sadie. As much of a good bounty hunter she is, Adler was always a loose cannon. I’m genuinely surprised she’s survived this long towards the end of the game.
7:50 Interesting fact. The reason the photographer/developer was so absent-minded was likely because he was regularly exposed to chemicals like mercury in the development process. This was the same thing that was responsible for those in the millenary profession to become "Mad as a Hatter" Also interesting is that around these times, especially in Britain, what we would call the Pharmacy was simply known as the "Chemist" and sold things like fireworks and was one of the few places one could get photos developed if you didn't have your own darkroom. That's why you can still get photos developed at Walgreens.
What hurts me the most is the fact that the ring John proposed with to Abigail was the one Arthur gave Mary Linton as a gift when they started dating. The one she sents back after that mission where you (as Arthur) help her get the brooch back and (if you want to) go on a date with her. That was the same ring.
It's so hard to believe that these characters weren't real people. That they weren't actually born, that they didn't actually live these lives, and die. For all its faults as a corporation, Rockstar did the unthinkable: it brought a completely fictional world completely to life. It made us fall in love, laugh, and cry, with so many different _people._
6:32 I’m happy they added all this “epilogue” stuff but mannnnn. It makes RDR1 soooooo much sadder for me, every moment of happiness is just another punch to the gut for me having played RDR1 first.
I know Arthur and Lenny watch over John and I know their ghosts were at the wedding RIP Arthur RIP Eagle Flies RIP Hosea RIP Sean RIP Molly RIP Kieran RIP Ms Grimshaw And RIP Lenny Summers They are not dead until forgotten 😔 ♥️
20:57 The bird that flew by the preacher was Arthur’s spirit. It’s a blue jay. It was also there for multiple scenes of the house building. Notice Arthur almost always had blue in his default clothing.
Such an emotional mission, a lot of wholesomeness in any other game I played. The fact you have a prompt to put your arm around her in the theater was just heart melting... It was almost amazing to see... And then boom... 16:51... Amogus.
Imagine the feels if there was a transparent ghost of Arthur happily smiling and standing with the rest of the gang in the last 10 seconds around 21:37
There should be alternate cutscenes where Mary Beth, Pearson, along with Tilly and family come to the wedding, depending on whether the player meet them before American Venom.
Dude by far I love this the whole video game is killin and robing people and the fact that they put so much real life stuff there relation ship and everything they went threw I think deep down we all want a Abigail
Arthur Morgan just like in Star Wars Return Of The Jedi where Luke burned Darth Vader and then the ghosts of Yoda, Ben Kenobi and Anakin just came after that
That's why back then the entire extended family posed for a picture cause unless you were wealthy pictures were a luxury you saved up for years for to get
That's why people would take pictures of their dead children. You wouldn't really take pictures every day, and if they died there would be no pictures at all.
At the beginning on Uncle and Abigail's argument Idk who to side with, I mean Uncle have a good point he works hard to build that place, he did the best he can to help John and Charles without Uncle that house would've never existed but ont the other hand Abigail is the woman of the house and because of that Uncle should obey her
Why didn’t we get a proper wedding mission? I legit forgot that they had a cut scene. I remember doing the proposal but couldn’t recall the wedding whatsoever.
Seeing Mary at the wedding got me emotional if Arthur were alive they would be married as well and man to see Arthur at John and Abigail’s wedding; married happily to the love of his life would have made me so satisfied!
It sucks because even though it tries to persuade you the ending is happy you know it all goes to shit in RDR1, so it makes you feel all hollow inside.
