Let me get this straight you murder every Sasquatch running away from you with a Gun. You meet the last one, who is so depressed over his dead family, he asks for a quick death, and you SET HIM ON FIRE?

Jon, here's a tip if you're struggling with low ammo: when you get to a town under attack, go interact with one of the blue dots on your minimap. The game will tell you that the survivors need a certain kind of ammo, and green dots (containers with a lot of ammo) will start popping up. Give some to the survivors or keep it and clear out the town, both ways are really effective.

Jon, when quick aiming, flick the camera up a bit for easy head shots, stop wasting entire clips on single zombies. and on a side note, you're just putting yourself in even more unnecessary risk by getting off your horse every time you try shooting zombies.

You should try the "lock-flick" method, lock onto an enemy, quickly flick the analogue stick up a little bit and fire right away. You will be linking manual headshots before you know it and won't need to rely on deadeye as much.

A settlement is under attack? And Jon is helping?! Blimey what happend to you Jon?

Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but there are a couple things you can do to make clearing a town more efficient. First, climb up on the roofs. You can clear out the zombies easier when they can't get to you. Second, while you're up there talk to the survivors. If you share a little ammo with them up front you'll get a lot more ammo in the chests after the town's been cleared.

I’m surprised no one has recognized the boss zombie from the graveyard she was the one who gave you the quest to find her husband to be who turns out to have been dead for years (he’s also another boss zombie)

the springfield rifle and the wichester use differen ammo types, you currently have loads of ammo for the springfield

Jon, you can easily tell which undead have ammo by the black x's on the minimap.

Here's some tips: 1) Talking to the survivors in towns under attack reveals chests full of ammo. You can keep all the ammo for yourself and clear out the undead single handedly, or give some of the ammo to the survivors which clears out a whole bar of undead for each survivor you help AND you still get to keep some of the ammo. 2) All human zombies are capable of being taken out with a single headshot from any gun, and bolters (or wendigoes as you call them) are actually fairly easy to pistol whip to death with a single blow. However zombie animals are different, some, like coyotes, can be taken out with a single headshot or a blast from a shotgun, while cougars and bears are MUCH harder to kill. 3) This is less a tip and more a hint, start your treasure hunt at McFarlon's Ranch. 4) The horses of the apocalypse show up randomly, but each has a certain area they like to appear. Pestilence shows up in the Tall Trees area of the map, War shows up in New Austen, Famine shows up in Mexico, and Death can appear anywhere any of the others do, but only after you've broken the other three first. 5) Check your journal, there's plenty of challenges in there for you to do in order to get ammo and dead-eye items. 6) Don't burn big-foot, the smell is terrible.

To be fair it's very fitting that WAAAGH! didn't even give you the opportunity to tame it and Pestilens did. It's almost like the game knows that you're an unorky ratman and tweaks the values respectively.

The Treasure Map starts in Mc Farlens Ranch. Can't believe you didn't recognise your girlfriends place... Too busy staring into her eyes?

As far as I know, that no head bug only happens on the game of the year edition. The only version of Undead Nightmare that actually works normally (I heard, so don't quote me) is if you bought the original game, and bought Undead Nightmare when it was a DLC. Everything else has some kind of texture bug when Rockstar put Undead Nightmare in with the other versions.

I love the cocky attitude he gets when the game tells him to talk to the survivors about how to help and says "oh if I had to guess it would be killing the zombies, thanks" when he hasn't asked them once. It's almost like the game is telling him that there is varied game play and he is actively ignoring it

Jon, the graveyard bosses are people you met during your travels in RDR (Jimmy Saint from the Stranger mission, he was the writer from Brooklyn who got tied up in the gang strongholds). Horses of Apocalypse have unique traits, Pestilence has indeed infinite stamina and when you ride near zombies, they get briefly stunned. Loving the series btw, it is fantastic dlc for a utterly brilliant game. (Also there might be a one-horned cornish horse on the loose that could almost be as worthy as Chestnut *Wink* *Wink*

The wind thing-a-ma-jib is called a weathervane. They were usually put on the front side on top of barns to know wind direction and speed but you can also prop them up like the one in Goodsprings in New Vegas.

Your first treasure map is around Macfarlane's Ranch. I still say when you are saving a town, talk to the leader, the blue dot on the mini map. After you talk to them, you can give ammo to the survivors and it will advance the wave one per. Also, all horses of the apocalypse have unlimited stamina and are extremely hard to kill.

I like how you start acting sympathetic towards the Sasquatch and then proceeded to burn it alive and after it charges at you from being burned alive you proceeded to shoot it in the back 3 times

you can kill the zombies with the apocalypse horses, i'd reccomend you do that for all 4 due to...reasons

If you give survivors some of your ammo while clearing out towns the green blips fill up instantly (for the amount of people you give ammo to). Makes clearing towns easier. Also climbing up buildings makes it easier as well, as they cant climb and you can just pick them off from above. The more towns you clear the easier you can fast travel from town to town (or wherever you put the X on the map). As you know, you get new weapons with every settlement you save, but one of them allows you to get a tomahawk which is badass. As well as this, if you don’t stop a town being attacked by the dead they can become overrun and unable to be used as a settlement anymore. The horses of Apocalypse all have infinite stamina, making them really good for just speeding along infinitely. Other than them and the Sasquatches however there is only one other mythical creature I think, and it’s in Mexico as part of one of the Challenges...and I think there might be another Horse Like Thing but I can’t remember where it is. The Wendigo things are called Bolters, who run at you. The fat ones are bruisers, and there is another type called Retchers, spitter boys. Also, I think all of the zombies in the graveyards have significance to either main story missions or stranger missions base game. Not sure if this is true or not, but I think because Seth either smells a lot like the dead, or because of him commonly being around them as a grave robber, is why they don’t chow down on him?

Hey jon you can make your fire bottels to a fire rocket launcher when you shoot with it in deadeye

Jon just a little advice In exchange for a little bit of ammo (the town chests are stuffed with) after talking to the survivors they speed up the process by a whole "ball" or stage Also get on the rooftops if you want to make your life easier

One time when I was playing this game over at my friends house, I found the flaming horse. Dunno which horse of the apocalypse that is but he said 'Aww, man you managed to find that before me?! That horse is super rare!'

The Springfield uses different ammo than the Winchester because they're a rifle and repeater respectively I believe. Also I think you can do that close range instant kill with any gun so that would probably help save ammo and get you out of particularly busy areas even when surrounded. Maybe it even builds deadeye? Hope this helps if you haven't already figured all this out! Edit: loved your main playthrough and loving this one too!

You've probably finished filming all of these Jon, but you should talk to the people in the settlements to see how you can help. it makes them more interesting than clearing out the town every time. And, you're not going to survive the real life zombie apocalypse very long if you don't take higher ground. by like, climbing things and what not

I think the only significance of some of the graveyard bosses is they are from the base game. Coot's Chapel and Odd Fellow's Rest are from the stranger mission Let No Man Put Asunder and I think the Tumbleweed boss is the guy from Funny Man. I don't know if the Blackwater boss is from the original.

Death and war are the best horses war more so because of the whole fire deal. Pestilence is good because he's hard to kill and famine is just annoying because of the fly buzzing noises.

wow I had never had any of these bugs... the only bug I got was John got stuck climbing up something. (just hanging there.) and he got bulldozed off... this was on the ps3 version. you just got a really buggy version jon. :(
