Honestly I just can't get enough of this album. I'm astonished at how great it is being honest. I maybe listened to way too many sceptics and negative early reviews. But it's blown me away with its beauty and magical sounds.
Nice catch with the 70’s “theme”! John did an interview where he talked about the concept behind his playing on this album. He said he was imagining himself as a musician coming out of the 60’s, and trying to imagine where he would go next musically into the 70’s.
