Hello friends, oh yes! Finally this intro jam has been made available by the tv video footage. I had been looking for this version on the internet for years, because in all these years until now only amateur video versions were available. I also hope that this show will be released in full official version by their record company, on DVD and even better on Blu-ray + CD, for us fans that would be great. I consider this concert very important, this show is perfect, here John gave his best, it was his last show and then he left the band again, he gave his all and the rest of the band had also reached an incredible level , they played so hard to notice the outro Jam ... Amazing. This is a masterpiece that perishes from being officially released. In my opinion this is one of the best RHCP concerts I have ever seen. Thank you so much guys. 1:23 Chad Smith's instinct to follow that bassline is just a fraction of the genius that Smith provides to the band through his drumming. His fills are fucking Einstein.
I’m not saying this in a pretentious way (a lot of chili pepper fans online are dicks) but chad doesn’t have to prove a thing. He is, as you said, Einstein on the kit
John is awesome but the start of this is made so good by Chad & Flea’s ability to find & create a rhythm for John. They keep having to adjust and do it so well & fluidly ♥️♥️♥️
sh1ntopknot John is super talented and makes a massive contribution to the band, especially with songwriting. He recently said that the way Flea plays makes him want to play guitar and explained how Flea’s playing effects his guitar playing in an endlessly enjoyable way. They are lucky to have that connection and we are lucky to have their band 😃
Greatest 3 piece jam band ever in my humble opinion. Shout out to Chad for giving such an insane backdrop. Flea and John are insane together. Chad is a master cat herder.

Have you checked out the federation square jam? Chad on drums, John in guitar, flea on trumpet with effects, josh on keyboards, and Anthony on vacation. And it’s 45 minutes long.
Don't get discouraged if it gets hard, if you truly wanna rock out like john its gonna take many years of dedicated practice. been playing for like 4 or 5 years and the last 3 years have spent playing everyday and am only just starting to sound pretty fucking good and still sound like a beginner next the likes of john frusciante. dont give up good luck brother
@@kiefscooper7 i’ve been playing a couple months now and ever since day one i’ve been playing frusciante stuff and i just recently have been able to somewhat play some of his solos such as the if you have to ask and i could have lied ones and someday i hope i can reach this level
You wouldn't necessarily expect Frusciante to be able to play as funky as he does. But he lays it down. Here and everywhere. That is one of the reasons I love this band.
I mean up until BSSM they were arguably known for their creative mix of funk, rock/metal with hints of hip-hop so I have no doubt John can deliver on the funky side of things
It takes years of work. It doesnt just happen budd. Remember that next time you decide to say must be nice. He worked his ass off to get where he is. Maybe you should consider doing the same. Or not. Edit: took the mean comment out cause it was mean.

If anyone ever asks you to describe Frusciante just get them to watch any of his solos. Every ounce of that man’s heart and soul goes into his guitar and it is mesmerising. Those other two chappies ain’t half bad either!
I don’t think y’all realize how f*cking crazy it is that Flea plays with his FINGERS, not a pick, like that every show and it’s the fattest f*cking sound and gut wrenching feeling with the most disgusting ferocity in his runs and groove lines plucking like fat ass rain drops smacking your cranium. Dude is absolutely INSANE. Absolutely bawnkuhs mate.
Damn, I was at this festival and got to see this live! RHCP only actually played about 2-3 songs before Anthony's mic cut out. They then proceeded to continue jamming with no vocals for 40 minutes. Absolutely incredible performance. Many on the day were let down because they expected to relive their favourite RHCP songs however for me as a guitarist, I was just in total awe the whole time. I'm almost glad to have never seen a full RHCP concert and instead got to listen to what only I could imagine to be a 1 off show that will never get replicated - that will stay with me for a life time.
he is the baddest guitarist of any band going. the entire band is underrated. i first heard of them in 85', in the movie Tough Guys, with Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas!
