Apparently there are differences wrt suspension valving & and engine mappings on the GG models and people find them better than the ktm/husky setups.

mine looks identical EC 350f road rego in Australia, apart from hydraulics brakes / clutch is braketec ,and with the EC you get enduro plush WP Xplor fork, rear tail light and head light horn blinkers dealer left blinkers off , didnt come with a cooling fan for summer, in OZ we need on road rego to ride in the state owned forestry for insurance and liability , thats why we mostly sell exc and ec fe enduro spec models

Gas Gas was never in my target sight's, that is until I went to a Dealer. sat on one and had to double check that it was a 4 stroke 3 times. narrow and light like a 2... I had my heart set on a yz450fx or a KTM, well I may have changed my mind totally.. now I just need to decide 350 or 450. I don't need the full 450 power but I don't want to deal with the 350 flameout.

I got my kid the mc250f and added a map switch... my kid loves it and is killing it at the track. It's the real deal.

harness is there for the map switch if you want to add. will plug in and work, at least according to my KTM dealer.

Can you confirm or deny that on the 450 and 250 MX bikes the intake is restricted on the GG to keep it from matching the KTM power level?

Does the lack of the “power bomb” segment on the header pipe give it less bottom end power compared to the 350XCF?

Wrong in the brakes. The EX300 has brembo brakes and clutch where the EC300 has the braketek. I own a EX300 and it's nothing short of amazing.

@@ZonaEnduro Yes, very big difference. I’ve ridden the 250 and 350 EXCs or equivalents and they are much more lethargic! My son has the GasGas EX250f and it’s a ripper.

Yeah but what about other parts? So can you use all KTM parts on it? Like for rebuilds and other small hard parts? So it seems like it would be a decent deal compared to KTM also would be something different. So I can see why they made them.

The 350 is more of a do it all bike if you wanna ride trails/track and even on the road. I was going to get the 300 2 stroke but I think I’m going to get one of these now since I want to ride track and go ride up north on the trails.

@@Motor-City_Ben-Diesel You really just need two bikes to do it all 🤪. I really like the technical trails. The TE300i or 300 XC-Wi are just so dang phenomenal in slow technical stuff. Everyone I see on a 4t struggles with stalls and flameouts while we just tractor through, up and over on the 300’s. (My son and daughter have the 250i’s and do awesome as well). With the 4t only firing every other stroke they require twice the amount of throttle to work in slow technical areas. The one and only disadvantage I can gripe about on the 300’s is you’ve got to keep the speed under 60 when riding more than a short distance at high speed. So I just cruise at 55 on the dirt roads. The 350 would be better if your riding long distance and need higher speeds.

May i ask why do you go under 60 mp/h on a 2 stroke for? what happens if you go around 60 or more on a long ride?

@@godlesstheist3750 it will do 70-80 for sure. The gearing is a little different and you can ride higher speeds at a lower rpm on the 4t. It would only mean you’ll be doing a top end sooner. I prefer to ride 60 and under for less wear and tear and I will do my top end at 200-300 hours rather than 80-100 hours.

yeah but you cant trust KTM, Just like they did with Husaberg, Get the average guy to save and scrimp just to buy the new Husaberg 70 degree, But then dump the entire line, with everyone losing dealer support and mostly parts availability. Now at least these are basically the same as KTM which is definately a plus.

Ya not sure what your saying but that is the plan. Luckily right now the 21 and 22 EX350 is the same as the KTM. 350XCF. Other models are not the same with lesser brakes etc.

Ktm announced when they bought Gasgas that the idea is Husky to be a top tier, ktm a mid level brand and GasGas an entry level brand. Wasn’t import laws or taxes... It was branding to make a closer priced product to the Japanese bikes.

I don't understand the point of GasGas. Yes they are cheaper than KTM but only a few hundred bucks. If a person can afford to pay $11,500 for a dirt bike they'll just pay $500 more and get the KTM or Husky. Unless the GasGas is priced comperable to the Japanese bikes, the GasGas brand won't sell enough bikes to survive. The market just can't support 3 mega expensive dirt bike brands. The average Joe can't afford to spend that much on a dirt bike. Bye bye GasGas your days are numbered.
