Ooo! That's actually a good idea for a spinoff of Emesis Blue. "Emesis Red" Where instead of focusing on the respawn machine, it could focus on the teleporter. I also noticed that just about every shot of Emesis Blue takes places at night, and most of the time in the rain. So maybe for Emesis Red, they could have the setting focused around the scorching hot clear sky day in the middle of the desert.
@@Ostan-jw2bg And based on the thing about teleporting, what would you need in a war in the supply lines? And since their supply lines are teleporters, what would happen if they malfunctioned or did not work?
I always had this headcannon that RED was the silly goobers we see them as and that BLU is a team of cold-hearted, serious, and willing to do anything for their own good.
Yeah REDs being silly goofy hippie commies who just share things live their life and have fun, while BLUs being cold-hearted individualistic competitive capitalists who are like IRL mercenaries.
Red lore: I TELEPORTED BREAAAD Blu lore: when they figured out how to bring us back, some of us would tell stories about what they saw on the other side. saw old friends, family, mostly strangers... I spoke to my grandfather. He's been dead for thirty years... He told... "it's eternity in there"
I watched the entire emesis blue film and at the same time I was terrefied and confused I was completely amazed on how such a piece of art could be made by a community of a game which it's own company doesn't give 2 craps about
Red is like the "Scary" Colour while Blue can be somewhat peaceful. But for the the two teams it's the opposite. Red Team ain't having too many issues and are living their lives somewhat peaceful in a "Chaotic Cartoon" way While Blue team is just groundhog day combined with the Jaunt! Red is fire while blue is water, but that fire keeps you warm while the water drowns you! Emesis blue is such a great film i love it!
Blue is also a cold and melancholic color that creates feelings of loneliness and hopelessness and some maturity. Red is a cheerful warm color that improves mood and makes the environment more energetic and kind. But that's just how I see colors.
I can't get over the fact that Spy is still smoking in the Hospital after being burned completely into a crisp like yeah it's a serious scene but FUCKING LOOK AT HIM
Red: Defeating gigantic teleported bread Blue: Defeating insanity Red: Explaining how teleporting bread works Blue: Explaining how respawn machine works Red: "We are not most men... We are mercenaries." Blue: "It's eternity in there."
RED Lore - "THINGS HAVE GONE WRONG, BUT TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THINGS RIGHT AGAIN!" BLU Lore - "It's longer than you think...i have seen the other side." "You're gonna make it fritz." "I know..."
it just hit me that Emesis Blue is one of the few movies I actually want to rewatch, especially more than once, which has gotta be pretty impressive for a feature length SFM animation
i realized that everyone in emesis blue look the same, uk like heavy with his tankyness, spy with his make and accent, soldier with his helmet, engineer with his goggles, sniper with his australian accent and his hat, demoman with his eyepatch, scout with his cap n stuff, medic having his german accent, but pyro
RED: "seduce me" "what!? Spy I ain't gonna-" "SEDUCE ME!" BLU: "my eyes hurt..." "I spoke to my grandfather, he's been dead thirty years" "what'd he say?" "i t ' s a n e t e r n i t y i n t h e r e" "y'know how long I've waited for this? *longer than you think* "
I’ve had a stranger idea that Emesis Red was a real thing and they have suffered through horrors upon horrors but now they’re just kinda living after the fact in a retirement home simulation to keep them happy and stimulated. Emesis blue is canon and Blu is in that stage at the present and eventually got dropped into the happy simulation that Red is in and the rest of the lore goes off from that. It’s the only was Emesis Blue can be can be canon and I like to think of it like that.
name the exact time of this scene: demo:hello dell, long night ehh engie: longer than you think engie: care for a drink? demo: love one. demo: I thought you were miles away lad, where have you been hiding? engie: who says I've been hiding. demo: your brothers thought you were dead. engie: "chuckles" relapse is a hell of a thing, ain't it? demo: too right demo: "sighs" demo: "looks into the void" longer than you think... engie: it is... demo: what?... engie: when they figured how to bring us back, some of us would tell stories bout what they saw on the other side, saw old friends...family...mostly strangers. I spoke to my grandfather... he's been dead for 30 years. demo: what he tell ya? engie: “It’s eternity in there...” congrats if you doo, because I will look.
Fan fact: "Exploration date", as well as official comics chronologically takes place after main tf2 events. In this timeline "RED" team formed by miss Pauling and Admininstrator, from leftovers of both teams. For example, Scout here is actually from BLU team
red lore : hihi bread monster, blue lore : the never ending torture of INFINITE death and resurrection and the constant effect on the brain each time they live
the fact that red doesn't have much problems while blu has to deal with the fact that their respawn machine doesn't always work like it does and can lead up to numerous deaths or worse is crazy asf
that fun, goofy contrast of “darnit this teleporter made this bread into a monster we can blow it up tho” and “I’ve been disposable this entire time. I’ve been cloned time and time again to be used as a pawn in wars. The people I look up to, the people I worked with, I thought they were entirely different people because of what they experienced and saw. I’ve learned this was wrong as I realize they had never changed.”
