I have to agree that turning red should have lots of love because the story is quite similar to my situation when I was that age plus I’m a Disney lover so anything that has to do with Disney I either like or love & I really enjoyed the music so much that I can easily come up with dancing routines even though I don’t own a dance studio but I know personally that I’m a good dancer but I respect everybody’s opinion about this movie but again I say agree that turning red should have lots of love.
I think it's because the boys have kind hearts ; plus, they don't look like perfectionists to me, they were just being themselves at that moment, and they saw the ritual as a chance to do it ; they must've grown tired of the fake stuff and wanted to go for something real, and that was their chance, now more people love them.

This scene with band. . . is most pointless thing i saw. I mean, ONLY thing that was working was this chinese seal and Mei friends just appeared to bitbox and at same time band started singing. . . It should not piss Mei mom even more? It should not remind her that she didnt allow her to go to concert of this band and break a seal? They are literally reason this whole seal shall be broken again, they appeared just to make fanservice for Mei and at same time risking whole effort. . .
