Yeah avoiding too-dissonant frequencies definitely allows for stuff like the LFO-modulated frequency to sound a lot more harmonious with the rest of the track
I have Radius since launch and am having a blast discovering soundscapes..The modulation brings it to a whole different level though..and as a lot of people have said,the X waveforms are the stars of the show for beautifull glissando/shepherd rissete tones ..
Award for most usable ring mod goes to… What a crazy cool pedal! I still have yet to try any red panda gear, but it is getting harder and harder not to just blindly jump in! Also really like the changing trem speeds, so beautiful!
I'm upset, this is what I wanted the Bitmap to be when I bought the Bitmap lol. I will gladly swap my Bitmap for one of these bois. Everything I've heard this pedal do seems to speak directly to my brain.

I spent a good amount of time on the Radius at Namm, (sadly Curt only had Mono connections/ output due to a shipping issue) ... regardless of mono or not- What a delightful pedal!
You didn't miss anything because while it's a stereo pedal it has no ping pong or "stereo" spread..but it's cool it can be put anywhere in the chain etc..
@@patrickr6505 That is good to know, I need to do some more manual diving- I am used to splitting out frequency shifting in the modular environment, and have to remind myself .. this is a guitar pedal, not a eurorack :) (but, lets talk about how the Raster hit a grand slam on that front) But, as long as the processing is truly stereo, that will be good- The Radius was in a line with the Raster, and a few others I am very familiar with- so when I tried to throw them into stereo to test the ecosystem- I wasn't getting much, IT Appeared the lineup was Bitmap>Radius>Raster>Particle...
They’re all stereo! Usually for stereo in/out, there’s not usually a lot of stereo width when there’s a mono source, but some of them can get pretty wide with their web editor (particle can do some ping pong stuff now)
Yes they are all Stereo..But with the Radius you won't get any "stereo" sounds like ping pong or Hass effect ..but you can place it anywhere in the chain..The Raster is unbelievable for stereo sounds..it has a huge amount of stereo options available..
@@patrickr6505 stereo tricks will come to the Radius in a future (free, USB-installable) firmware update. None of the people recording/touring with the prototype and beta pedals needed stereo, so we decided to wait until there were a large number of them out in the wild and do an open beta.

The way a pedal demo should be done. To the point and without a bunch of worthless biased opinions that don’t apply to a general audience. As far as you playing the harp goes - I’m always putting moogifer effects on drums and whatever else sounds weird and good, so in a big way I think using effects on source instruments that aren’t guitar is a major plus. Hope things are going well for you guys and the channel. You disappeared from my feed when I started to become obsessed with 🇺🇦. But Donald Trump taught me that Russia is the best.
