I wish these red panda's could be pets. I am not saying make them pets, I am saying that if there were millions of these furry fellows I would want one. So beautiful :D
If we make them pets there will be millions of them, bread to survive in all sorts of climates. If we didn't eat cows they would probably be endangered too, obviously I hope people never do to pandas what they've done to cows. If only they were cute, best defense against human predation.
habitat loss is a mystery? as if cars and money and humans weren't the cause of THAT. how many "mysteries" really are. and how many have answers money, and familiar ways of life, simply would themselves feel threatened to admit to?
People have said that domestication is the answer to save the red pandas. This probably would work. An idea is possibly breeding for 'tame' traits, trying to domesticate the red panda. The Russians could do it with foxes, so as long as the same genetic diversity exists in the red panda's genome and in the wild, this could be feasible. It'd also give them monetary worth, often the best way of getting a species to be protected.
Astavakra1981 I'd hope as much as Belyaev reported some of tame foxes to be after many generations: whimpering for human attention from before they could open their eyes, and being very affectionate. Considering how attractive red pandas are already, this would really make people want them.
I see them almost every year at the zoo in Tennessee, they are one of the many who are trying to save the species. They are now trying to save the tigers too.
I love to see all animals in the wild and human has no right to keep red pandas as a pet or killing them for various selfish reasons. I love red pandas 💜💛❤
I do not want to see the red panda be extinct. No creature of such awesome adorable pokemon like nature must ever know the meaning of endangerment. They must be as common as housecats... or I'll SCREAM!

As a chinese myself i completely disagree with china's traditions , they endangered so much animals because of their dated beliefs . They have to stop and move on ! Its unfair that an animal with such a loving nature has to put up with such abuse ...
Every time I see some amazing creature, it's almost always "endangered". It seems to be man's will to wipe out everything beautiful on this earth. Here lately, it seems to be weird Asians who have strange ideas of what animal parts will do for their sex drives.
