I'm a fan of your podcast. I am glad you are back. One thing I want to say, coming from the working class myself, I have seen that "we" in the Euro-American working class love settler colonialism. We have more often than not been the henchmen and henchwomen for the masters. That continues to be the problem.

As a former Sailor, I have heard there is a moment of clarity when you are dying of drowning. The moment where the struggling stops, your mind is still there for a split second but you are inevitably dead already. Also I am Chicano (Native American), Irish, Hungarian Roma ("Gypsies"), and Iberian peninsula area (modern day Spain/Portugal/France). I am sorry to hear about ppl sending you their bigotry, I have learned so much listening to Natives like Klee (R.I.P.), and the Red Nation. I may not always understand or see eye to eye, but I am angry at what I have been learning. As we said in the Navy, Keep your head down but your spirits up. Dont stop fighting! Ahe'hee'.

I read a fictional book about the great depression recently, and I loved one of the quotes from it, (which wasnt said by one of the characters but was a quote that encapsulated/matked a theme from a section of the book.)
