I think most Israelis don't live in biblical delusions. I think we are educated and indoctrinated from a very young age to fear and despise Palestinians, we never get to meet them on a human level. The first Palestinian I met was when I was 20, in a music festival in the US. It's easy to become insensitive when you grow up with buses exploding around you, and when you are constantly exposed to de-humanizing messages from media and people around you.
