Red tailed Hawk and Blackbird passenger 

I was taking pictures of this Red-tailed hawk, and when he flew from where he was perched, a Red-winged blackbird, in an attempt to drive it away from its nesting area, landed on the hawks back and rode there for must have been about 10 seconds? The time stamps on the pictures don't include seconds, so I'm not sure how long the ride lasted. It may have been longer. I've seen blackbirds dive bomb raptors many times, but this was the first time I'd seen one ride for such a long time. I just kept the shutter pressed and continued to take pictures. I did have to refocus a couple of times. You'll see a couple out of focus pictures as they move away from me. Since I wasn't taking a video, I put the pictures together to make a video.
