Hahaha, we have a client shoot coming up at the end of this month with a car scene so you may get your wish! Although it might be a Ford Explorer or a minivan and not an exotic car haha
Lol, thanks man! We rent glass on a per job basis so we’re shooting on all types of glass. We own the Xeen CF primes as a cheap baseline for various swiss army applications. Certainly not stellar in many regards but also are the right tool for other applications. Cheap enough to own but also too cheap to use universally 😂
Keep pushing! You’ll get there. We never imagined we’d be where we’re at as a production company to have access to so many amazing cameras and work with such incredible clients! Incredibly blessed.
Thanks dawg! It depends. If it’s a standard shooting scenario on sticks or easy rig or whatever, my first AC has a nucleus M that he likes. If we’re on the Ronin 2, we’ll use the DJI system with the DJI transmission + ronin 4D grips for pulling focus. We’ve used C motion, Carson, all of them really lol.
Hey man! Thanks for watching. The cage is the Bright Tangerine left field system for the V raptor. I’ve always used bright tangerine stuff on my past cinema cameras and they’re just the best in the biz for quality and thoughtful design 👌🏼
Nikon closed the deal today… so all these cameras are now being produced by Nikon. Which was formally a potato… Joking. Don’t know what that means for what was formerly Red moving forward… FYI: I’m also a former Red shooter that now has become a Nikon shooter… strange times.
Haha, strange times indeed. Both Red and Nikon have released official statements that Red will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of Nikon. Obviously there will be some influence but I think Red will largely stay Red. I’m honestly pretty excited about it. A small company that’s an industry disruptor, like Red, getting the type of R&D budget that comes with a company like Nikon can only mean good things for all of us!!!!
