Yes, so basically: Irene wants to regain control of everything in this mad realm by offering strawberries to that giant monstrosity of a baby (as she should be). Joy is trapped somewhere and asking for help (probably because of Irene). Yeri has power over this realm by being the ruler of the good humanoid birds and she wants to help Joy (werk bird queen!). Seulgi is the girl-boss of the evil humanoid birds (Periodt). Wendy just wanna get the fuck out of this wonderland-disguised hell (We stan!).
The music videos reminds me a lot of Swan Lake story. Joy as Odette, a princess who has been transformed into a white swan by an evil sorcerer. Her human form is trapped because of the curse. Seulgi as Odile, the sorcerer’s daughter. She is the villain of the story that manipulate the Prince to marry her instead of Odette. She can transfrom into a crow too. Irene represents moon / midnight. The time when Odette can transform into her human form. Talking about details, the dancer’s outfit looks like shining stars too. Wendy represents the lake/water, the place where the swan lives. Yeri i’m not really sure but i think she represent the forest fairy because of the berries, plants, and animals that dancing around her or maybe she represents the true love that can break the swan princess curse.
Maybe the music video was inspired by "The Garden of Earthly Delights" (insane!) The sculpture at the end or the strawberry that keeps appearing is symbolic. The work is made up of three sides, so I'm looking forward to their 3 comeback this year ! 오늘도 영상 재밌게 잘봤어요 !! ♥
I was honestly expecting something dark too, but then again you never know what to expect with RV, they always throw a curve with their comebacks, I liked it, at first listen I felt kind of confused, but i listened to it again and enjoyed it

To me, the song felt like a child of psycho and hello future by nct dream. Feel my rythm has quite an anthem'ish vibe to it just like hello future! It was love at first sight even though I've gotta say that the song's better without the mv! Yeri's and Wendy's era if ur asking me.
Let's all be honest, we thought that this comeback was gonna be very creepy and dark, but then they gave us this song. SO BEAUTIFUL AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. It simply tricks us that it's a cute and happy song but then the lore behind it is pretty creepy 🏃♀️💨😔...plus all those birds be showing up in my dreams now.

Girl you look amazing in that pearl headband! I don't really watch many other MVs save for majority of SM and some other groups that I like. But this MV is phenomenal. The references, the sets, the styling and clothes cohesive but diverse. Edit: Anyone seeing this y'all have to listen to the b-sides of this album all of them are 10/10's
The point about not being catchy on the 1st listen is SOO true. I felt the exact same way after listening to queendom and trying to remember the chorus but after multiple listens I was chanting “cause we are queens and kings.” Feel my Rhythm gives the same feel with the chorus being hard to remember at first. Anyway sorry for such a long comment ❤️

I am freaking out and shaking while commenting this, they went OFF during this Music Video it has to be one of my favorites already because WOW and the Visuals HOLY COW they have to be one of my favorites as well because everyone looks so Gorgeous legit this is everyone's era! Irene oh my Goodness looks so Stunning she is a freaking Goddess I kept pausing on her moments on screen because she was so Gorgeous and her Vocals/Rap is insane. Seulgi can STEP ON ME what the heck she looked like an evil goddess and I am here for it, her Vocals were crazy, and the way she ate that strawberry was not okay. Wendy is Bias wrecking me and I don't even have a Bias her Visuals and charisma is CRAZY, and her Vocals went OFF like during the bridge that was one of most beautiful notes I've heard. I think it's hard to pull the Psycho 2.0 card since they're aiming for being the Spring Queens and I think this concept fits so well with spring. maybe Psycho 2.0 will be back on the 4th quarter of the year since The Reve Festival will continue throughout this 2022 (i guess).

i had the exact same feeling you did about it maybe being a little early to say this is the best video of the year -- but if I see anything better between now and New Year's I'll be floored. As you suggest, we are very fortunate to be alive at the same time as Red Velvet. Headband actually looks great on you! I agree with the sense of nostalgia you got. To me, the song is largely upbeat, but there is a very powerful undercurrent of sadness, even dread -- as if they are celebrating the springtime of western civilization, but also noting the darkness that now threatens to consume it. For me, this is an instant masterpiece, and possibly the most emotionally / intellectually potent video I've ever seen.
Omg same same I love the verses And unlike other red velvet title tracks I think the raps are really fitting, but the chorus throws me off everytime. But over all I really like this comeback

I think that the little story of red velvet is that Irene is like the leader of girls and makes the girls do her bidding by mind controlling them. Aka (zimzalabim) Irene works for some bigger power maybe. (Her reaching up to the big statue thingy) the main point in this song is showing that Selgui knows what Irene is doing because she is back from the dead. (HEAR ME OUT) I believe is the umpah umpah music video Selgui dies from drowning but comes back in the next video. The girls die or kill each other in a lot of different videos or at least have nods to death. Selgui fit in this video also resembles a crow but also an owl to show that she’s wise and knows what’s going. The main thing is that the girls r in a time loop over and over again. Like stuck in another world. The festival keeps happening but Irene makes sure she’s always in top even after it’s over. Like Irene stares at the screen always feel “different” lmao but in this vid so did Selgui’s lol. Also this is the first time they repeated a concept. Like the festival was a 3 part things but it’s back now aka the time loop. Selgui looks at Irene at the end as well. SHE KNOWS!!!! As a fan of dark and creepy RV, I was a bit disappointed but again this is spring, they usually did creepy vibe around summer or fall, let's just hope But, that doesn't mean this song is bad, no, this song is intriguing, beautiful, and catchy, i'm just into creepy vibe more
