It's unrealistic to expect every member to hit all the high notes and be Mariah Carey. For this reason, there will be three vocal positions: lead vocal, sub vocal, and main vocal. Wendy (woman on the left you kept referring to) has an immaculate voice for sure! In fact she's my bias in the group. But the rest of Red Velvet has amazing vocals as well, especially Seulgi (next to Wendy) and Joy (far right side). "You Better Know" is a great song to showcase all five of their vocals! The way positions in Kpop groups work is usually the person with the strongest skills are put in a "Main" position, which is why Wendy is considered the main vocalist of this group and why some songs performed in this video showcase her powerful singing lines. That has nothing to do with the other ladies "not giving it their all" or "not showing personality"😊 The song lineup was amazing imo! But definitely a lot of them have strong Wendy singing parts so she'll definitely stand out even if it's just adlibs! I think you guys should check out more Red Velvet, this is my favorite girl group! 😊❤ Edit: Also Yeri (second from far right) revealed she was sick during this, so if her energy seems a bit down that's potentially why 😊
