You REAAAALLY lucked out in that Tate & Liza battle. That must’ve been Blastoise’s Torrent ability, because that last Surf did a lot more damage than the other Surf attacks before.

28:08 Lucky you, if Slaking had used Facade instead of just loafing around, it would’ve probably been all over for Pikachu, a one-hit KO, and you would’ve lost the match. I wish Slaking was as badass in the anime as it was in this battle, Slaking didn’t defeat a single one of Ash’s Pokemon in the gym battle!

Less than two minutes in and he counters a Geodude with a Pikachu? I know Supa Billy has no grasp of type effectiveness and the brains of my sock drawer but there is no way anyone on any kind of mind altering drugs could possibly think that was the right play.

No offense to Camerupt but camels aren’t too attractive, that’s why Camerupt’s Attract didn’t immobilize Wartortle ONCE!

Just realized that only Water and Fire types in Emerald have this special effect where they enter the battle on your side, and they glow Red and Blue. The rest of the types don't have that. Either biased, decided, or laziness.
