I love these boots for a couple of reasons. 1) they are a unique color which makes them stand out. Moc toes already stand out outside the heritage fashion community so doubling down with the pink honestly just makes sense 2) all the gate keepers who think heritage boots are only for people to do hard labor in absolutely will have a fit when they see these 3) It shows how far you’ve come as a reviewer Nick, and being a fellow New Yorker, I’m rooting for you!
These are amazing. I would buy these in an instant. I have a pair of pink Cole Haan wingtip boots-they're a weird model that I never saw anywhere else but in an online warehouse sale. Seems better made than most Cole Haan. But I would love these Redwings! Make them Redwing!!
You definitely need to do a follow up video on how these break in and specifically how the colour changes. Will be interesting to see how they end up, especially as you have the only men's version available.

I have the same salmon pink color in my custom made combat boot , i wear it with dark blue jeans / black jeans/olive chino/brown cargo ....... It's versatile....and also i have bleached few of my converses and all of them turned in to salmon pink color.... That's my inspiration to made the pink boot... It's cool!! ... Especially with my muscles and full beard 😆
This pink boot wouldn't be my first choice but I am all for Red wing releasing different option of color or even bringing region exclusive back to US market. The olive mohave for women looks awesome and was thinking about getting sized at the store. I would love to see how this patina though.
“Mind blowing” I love these pink moc toe boots. I wear a pair of vintage 1980’s pink Converse Chuck Taylors and would totally rock these pink moc boos. I have over 15 pairs of red wing and would not hesitate on getting a pair and adding straight to my rotation. Sign me up for a pair.
One of the coolest gifts I've ever received was a pair of pink sunglasses from my cousin, who was the lead singer in a punk-rock band at the time and got them at a truck stop while on tour. They're more than 10 years old now, but I'll be damned if those aren't the coolest shades I own. Fully on board with #teamprettyinpink and these mocs are phenomenal.
Im both of those men. I have hardy fashion forward boots and beater boots for the job. While I like color, color in shoes is kinda polarizing for me. I like earth tones for shoes and boots. But despite me, you gentlemen do you!!
Haha! They took the women’s leather and made you a pair. This leather is super soft and supple! I wonder if they did Poron/Texon like the ladies……. My lady has a pair of the Lady Mocs in pink.
Those are really really good looking boots. I would love a pair in this pink color, if they were ever out on the European market. And I am saying this a proud owner of 3 pairs of moc toes from Red Wing - Briar Oil Slik, Black Chrome and Oro Russet Portaje (initially a exclusive to the JP market). Now I am looking forward for more bold colors for the men collection, and me, I personally don't care about how these colors and combinations are perceived by anyone else except myself, I don't think the manliness is in the colorway ...
100% i would buy these if they were made for the general public. maybe ask about a collab or something where these are made in a limited run (like the rose anvil x nicks) and yes i would wear these to a job site tbh
Hi Nick. Those boots are awesome.Since you like color I'm guessing you would have liked the Reebok Exo-Fit hightops that came out in the late 80's early 90's . They came in a variety of colors. My personal favorites were the Turquoise , Royal Blue , Purple , Red and Sky Blue. I actually still have my Turquoise and Sky Blue ones. I remember the only ones that I didn't get were the Orange and Yellow ones. Ah , the good old days . BTW I was waiting for it and you didn't disappoint at 7:44 with the signature pistol squat.
I think Red Wing should do a co lab with Owens Corning Fiberglass. The guys that install the fiberglass in attics would love these. I'm sure there are other industries out there that could use them. The bicycle race in Italy (The Giro de Italia) would love them. Breast cancer awareness... They do grab your attention.
Truman released purple and orange boots in the last year. i would have snagged a pair of horween ultraviolet shell cordovan boots from viberg if they weren't 1400 bucks.

How freaking awesome is this?!?! You’re so lucky that red wing did this for you! And yeah - if they’re reading the comments - people (he or she or they) do want colour options! They’ve got to know that a large amount of their customers wear boots for the aesthetic as much as anything else. These are super nice. Imagine how nice these will look when they’re really well worn in.
Straight guy here, I just bought my first pair of pink leather shoes a few days ago, and the problem is just that they're too loud. Imho the only way these type of shoes works is with Kanye style outfits or really boring outfits. And I cannot wear the pink shoes everyday because they're obnoxious, so I'd stick with the brown boots 99% of the time because they're more versatile and no one will ever look down on them.

Those are dope. Remind me of the color of old red Docs when super worn out. Anyway, I was going to say you're lucky, which you are, but you're also doing these brands a real service (by increasing their reach, contributing to the conversation, etc.), so it makes sense.
Red Wing is still a great American company. I still don’t understand why RW doesn’t have a custom order department. It seems like they missing a big market niche.
