Great review! Loving your excitement over tasting it! Redbreast 12 gift from my son is what got me started on my whiskey journey at 61 years old! Now 4 months into my journey and 110 bottles into it I’m really enjoying all the whiskey and bourbon and scotch’s so far! I pick my son and myself up a Redbreast Lustau the other day and they are very nice pours! My son gave me a Redbreast 21 the other day and it’s awesome!

Happy 40th. I had mine last year and got a bottle of the 15 year old. I always have 2 bottles of 12 year old in the house, one that I'm drinking and the other one just in case I run out. I have to say I prefer the 12 year old over the 15 year old. Would go for Pot still whiskey's over everything else and by your response I think I'll have to splash out one of the days and try the 21 year old.

That look on your face during the first sip and the smile afterwards says it all. I had that when I tried Glenlivet 18 the first time. I've got Red Spot on my radar for my next special purchase. Ever tried it?

Not had the Red Spot yet but people don't seem to be blown away by it for its price. I will try it though.

Red Spot is tasty stuff but I prefer the Redbreast 15 year old personally. The Redbreast 21 is the best Irish whisky I've ever experienced.

You should review Jameson Crested if you get a chance, best budget Irish whiskey going in my opinion! Keep up the good work!

Just bought this for my husband's 50th, he's from Scotland and collects loads of whiskey, but he hasn't got any redbreast in his collection, I hope that's because he has never tried it, and not because he doesn't like it.

I was in an Irish pub here in the U.S. They had tons of good stuff. The spots , sexton, slane, etc. They had a couple redbreasts. They had Redbreast 25. I was so tempted to try, but it was $75 a pour. Is it worth it?

I have not tried it, but I have heard its a bit to old the 21 is the best.

Did you do a head to head. Im either going to buy the cask strength or this one. If I can get away with the cheaper cask strength Id rather that but I want my first Redbreast experience to be a big one. Lemme know what you recommend Bro
