Everest gen 7 easy Set ups and mods all done to the stock everest truck without spending any extra cash! Please Like and Sub and hit that bell so you won't miss any of my videos!
Hi the chassis is strong and fine without that brace...trust me I had other crawlers that you can flex the chassis with your hands that were way weaker than the gen 7 chassis without the top brace... also like I said in the video you could put something across to connect the two top side plates like a light aluminum rod link and screw it on in between the sections on each side with a screw....but it's definitely not needed.
When you screw the cap back on make sure your shock is all the way compressed and make sure you get all the air out or else they will lock before they get to the bottom giving you less travel.
Redcat must of fixed there issues I just got a gen7 and my suspension does not hit my stearing turns awesome were you cut off the things so it can stear better mine don't have them but my front links do hit a little trying to find a way to fix this I'm new to rc
Nice mods I might be able to do some of these on my rgt hsp scale crawler, I was gonna get the gen7 but got the hsp at a steal, pretty descent truck,I’m gonna make some vids of it just started a channel check it out n lmk what u think👍👍👍📹📹
What’s up brother,do u like this purchase? I was thinking about getting one but don’t wanna regret not saving a lil more n getting scx or really would like trx4 bronco, but for $199 u know
Hi I like it you seen all my gen 7 vids? I beat on it a lot and so far so good. The honest truth about the gen7 for the $199.99 it's a great truck IF you are not going to get optional parts and try and hop it up or make it better because in the end if you do buy stuff to make it better you will spend a lot more and your much better off getting a axial rig. The gen 7 worst thing I HATE on it is the large pumpkins on the axles I wish they would have made them smaller. I see to many guy's buy the gen7 and put so much money into it and it will never be as good as a axial or any of those other quality rigs like HPI and vaterra rigs so if your going to try and buy parts to make it better I say just save up and get a better rig to start with. 😊👍
Hi you don't have to do them all , I would definitely do the steering mod and cut the rear inner drive shaft off a bit like how I show because it stops the rear suspension from fully compressing and binds in stock form.
Hi yes those sections are for the pro version body mounts for it's lifting body system up front they just gave you them in with the sport for some odd reason.
Hi it's a lipo charging storage box and I HIGHLY recommend it , best thing you can buy and use if you have lipo battery packs... I did a showing of it on my channel search for it in my channel and you should find it. Thanks 😊👍👍
HI I don't know what your truck is doing or has been doing so it's hard for me to help you? was it working when you first purchased the truck? what happened?
Shen RC Shen RC I got it for Christmas it was steering just ding and now when I unplug it from the ESC the wheels straighten out but when I turn the wheel on the radio nothing happens
Try new batteries in the radio, and also unplug the servo plug from the receiver and then place it back in and try that and see if the steering works, also do you have throttle control still? sounds like your servo may have went bad.
Hi since I have two portal trucks I would not bother with this truck. also now it's working really well after all my mods I think you really don't need the portal axles. Thanks
Check your suspension links, redcat assembled a lot of them wrong per the directions. I’d stay away from redcat all together if you really rc race or crawl.
