I like my hopper cars with rear sitting higher than the front but I like a challenge and love to modify and customize these Redcat Sixty-Four RC Lowriders. Support the Artist X Support the Community www.jevries.com
This is how it should look!!!!!👍Freaking awesome man!!!!!!!would be badass if a convertible edition would come out with an actual working top that goes up and down🙏👍✌
I love what you doing ppl gone always have some to say down about the car but overall JEVRIES changing life of the RC hoppers keep it up OG can't wait to see the next update you do 👌👌
so awesome i cant wait till parts are available im going to lowride my fave rc ride! thank you for bringing this out for us to play! imagine a rock crawler dipping the switches!! lol epic! oh yeah ordered both colors from red cat. if the market is as big as i think it will be. the aftermarket parts for this rc will be your bread and butter. think of all the majestic lowriders coming out with scale bodies that people can buy. that cash flow will help the community and also remove some of the bad vibes our lowriders get when we are cruising the beat. you know what this lowrider is missing? the beats man the beat.. you cant cruise without music man it removes the floss out of flosssin yadig! lol
Mines is ordered.. i think other than the wheel, being that the car is in demand, its time to start making body options. Would love to have a fleetwood coupe..
@@jevries i bought both.. Red and blue. Red all good. Blue broken front bumper. i don't know if someone or you had found the solution for the Blue 64 broken front bumpers. I figured out why they break on shipping.
@@conevicmorro6970 It seems to be an issue mainly within US. I received 6 cars so far over here in the Netherlands all 100% intact. It seems they are used to throwing packages in the US more than over here. Please check with Redcat racing warranty they will most likely help you out with a new bumnper.
i bought one of these before xmas. was very pricey. i do wish it had the wheels fixed. kinda jank for such an expensive toy. however its still badass and i have waited 20 years for these to be devoloped. please work with redcat to have the fix ready for market, would make me enjoy it a lot more. also those wheels would be nice to have aswell. the two things done i would be completely happy with my purchase.
Agreed. You can either download the 3D files for the fixed steering parts and have them printed or wait until summer when Redcat will have the fixed factory parts done free for customers to receive.
You don’t have to do anything brother, all up to you. The high stance was created to get the most out of the hopping not for driving. They should have limited the lift switch though.
1:53 You could also shorten that little plate/mounting bracket for the lower A arms to get the same effect, and that'd get you a decent angle too. IMO, since this isn't a technical build (to be read, meant to run over stuff too much) you could take that plate, cut it in half, remove a few mm from the center and elongate the bolt holes, and you could get yourself an adjustable angle from that plate. And like i said, since it's not a technical build, those 2 and 2 screws should be more than enough to secure the (now) separate plates in place, maybe a smidge of loctite.
Hey Jev hows it going out there in the Netherlands was going to ask you which springs and shocks are them for the bounce because the redcats are extremely stiff thanks brother 👍👍
Whatup! Still in lockdown over here...I bought the shocks on Aliexpress. Check for: 4 Pcs Metal Shock Absorber Damper for WPL C14 C24 C34 MN D90 D91 D96 D99 D99S MN90 MN99S RC Car Upgrade Parts. These are very basic shocks without oil. I swapped the springs with the Redcat stock ones.
Yes you can but you need to make a tool: electrical or similar type of tubing ID 12mm, make cuts across that fit the KO's ears/ wings, slide it over the KO and turn it loose.
Nice upgrades! But i'm not gonna lie. It's kind of a bummer that things had to be changed in order to work properly. I would have hoped they would have figured out those issues before releasing it.... at that price anyway
I noticed something weird... you changed the front springs/shocks for more bounce but at 0:57 the bounce is coming from the cams (I slowed the video down to .25)... I don't own one (yet).. is there a spring on the connection to the cam too?
I have 3d scale wheels and my wheels don't turn now. The inside of the rims are too wide causing them to rub and stop. Can you help me fix it. I really don't want to grind off anything. I started a little grinding but I think I have too much to grind.
Hi the streeing rod i made a front wheel drive lowrider and when I free wheel with one side off the front wheel up the wheel on the ground stops turning but the one in the air spins hard out drives very slow with heaps off throttle
@@jevries got you… on my radio/remote the hop switch stopped working so I did factory reset the controller and then had to rebind the remote to the car and that’s when the noise started happening when I turn the wheel
Bro, this is a lowrider car not a race car doesn't need brushless...low and slow is the way to go. No other RC brand in history pulled this off so hats off to Redcat!
Video is good. However, this is the worst rc product of all time. So useless. Again, nothing wrong with video I just don't see how this could be fun for more than 3 seconds of "play" time for an rc car.
I'm so happy and gratfull to see that so many enjoy this product to the fullest!! Check out online what people do with these cars! Have a good one bro!
