He bends 7075 aluminum chassis with ease, so this will not be straight for long. I just want to see how much it will take compared to the now (should be discontinued) Erevo 2.0
I've been waiting for traxxas to release an actual truggy. This is sick. Looks like you guys were down at Bolsa Chica for some of the video. That's where I drive my cars, super cool.
This has been my issue with traxxas for years, I think they should at least offer some of their models as rollers or kits for a reasonable price and let people pick what electrics they want to install.
I actually think it’s worth it because it has some parts that are not so easy to produce and cost more. But they could have made it cheaper and sell it as a roller
@@germanrcbashing245 naja ich denke ein 4яям4 k-exb währe mit 800€ investment unvergleichbar stärker als das ding. Der sledge würde sich dann einfach überhaupt nicht lohnen, chassis ist auch nichtmal 7075.
I was on the same boat. Local hobby store told me that there's a new model that's coming out and has a better internals. I pre-ordered one through my local hobby store
Yes. Just take the erevo 2.0 drive train and swap it over. Maybe a bigger brushed motor or a sensored brushless. Call it the s2 summit. needs to happen.
Here's the song in the background If anyone is curious. Song- I Am The Enemy Artist- All Good Things Great video as always Traxxas!! Keep up the hard work. Also...I'm in the process of getting the sledgehammer tires for my ERevo 2.0...mine is basically the exact same thing just without the tires, so there's no point in getting this. Saves $250.00 guys, just get the ERevo 2.0 and put some upgraded servos and steel-belted tires into it. That basically does the same thing.
TRAXXAS SALUDOS CORDIALES DESDE GUAYAQUIL ECUADOR MUY BUEN VIDEO DE CARROS PEQUEÑOS TODO TERRENO LO MAXIMO GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR TAN BUEN MATERIAL ADELANTE Y EXITOS 🇪🇨🙋♂️😀👍
Yes !!! Now anyone who wants a pure 100% basher can now buy the Sledge ! We want the 8S version also ! All we need now is a 1/8 Buggy from Traxxas! Love Traxxas ( Texas Tuff baby! )
I very much enjoy these traxxas videos but I think a cool element to add at the end of the video would be the person holding the controller. I'd like to put a face to the him/her that nailed all of those cool tricks 😎 I just recently got into the hobby and I have several traxxas trucks including my prized possession in the form of a widemaxx v2 monster energy edition!! 🙃 ×××TRAXXAS××× Rocks 💯😎💯
I just do not know what to say but this video has inspired me more into RC and others that are watching or watched this video had probably been inspired that they had bought one well done traxxas well done
The size is similar, but Sledge is an all-new truck from the ground up and provides a totally different driving experience than E-Revo. Check out all the details at the website: traxxas.com/products/landing/sledge/
man you guys always read our minds and deliver! i cant wait to see the options to tuning/race options..you guys set the bar and kill the comp, thank your for always reinvesting your company to the consumer and delivering a quality product!
@@rctd3260 ok this car may be good but the price is just too high for the competition... i see cars with 800$ imvestment just easily be tougher than this truck. But we will see, i may be wrong. Just the first impression for me isn't quite good.
Seems impressive in the review videos already out. $800 is about what I expected, too. Proprietary wheel nuts though so hopefully the replacement proprietary wheel/tyre combo packs won't be obscenely overpriced.
I thought this was a joke at first a couple days ago, but thank you Traxxas!! Can't frickin wait to drive and bash this badass truck!! Who needs a PS5 when this exists🤘🏼Thank you for this little slice of heaven!! Can I order one now or yesterday??
sweet looking machine! a bit worried about the proprietary wheel nuts and hence the price of replacing wheeks and tyres, when i see in this vid that ballooning is the standard operating mode even when just running straight on the ground. it looks like the tyres are always at least at 125% of their actual size.
