This is a great idea. I like that it puts more introverted/shy members of the class or family on the same level of participation as the naturally chattier ones. That can be hard to do as a teacher. I'm going to find a way to do this at home with my young kids to encourage independent interaction with the scriptures!

Because of your book I ordered a cross necklace, and the day I put it around my neck I heard the words inside my soul✨well pleased✨ Now I have something tangible to grab a hold of when I am reaching out for my Savior! And then this lesson today is just what I needed this morning. I checked my son into a mental hospital last week, he has a TBI and he's really struggling. My heart hurts and I was fasting today, then I did your silent lesson and I felt God's love come around me so strong! Just like a heavenly hug! At first when I read some of these, I wasn't certain how it would go, but I was so touched by this lesson! I found myself crying and feeling something that I haven't felt in the other classes. This is such an amazing lesson and I truly felt the spirit touch my heart in such a way that profound. Thank you for your wonderful lessons. I am also studing the Seeking Jesus classes. As I immerse myself in my scripture study, I am finding that I am changing in a way that I should have started years ago. Thank you for providing these beautiful tools to help others to come closer to Christ.

Brother Hilton you asked what do we learn about Jesus Christ in the first verses of Mosiah 14. This is what I learned. That despite my life being unfair, despite my challenges, despite the troubles I have suffered due to the decisions of others, that despite being so undeserving, that despite turning away from Him, that despite being weak, that despite being all of those things. He will make things right, He knows what’s unfair, He knows what it’s to come to the lowest form possible, my Savior will succor me, and because of Him one day I may see His face and stand before God. Than you for these inspiring lessons. They have helped me to break my heart so Christ may reach me.

I felt his spirit was here with me as I watched your lesson. I am anxious to engage with your video perhaps with my spouse this Sunday, and not just watch it. But it was perfect for what I needed in this moment. I am really curious about what is specifically in those verses I couldn't get a chance to read this time around. We go through the process of learning many things the hard ways. And growing closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Along the way we have The Holy Ghost and angels come to help us. So many times we don't see the angels from the other side of the vail. We find out about prayers being said on our behalf. Many prophets told about the many things that Jesus would go through for everyone and still be rejected by his own. Moses all the way through out the Holy Bible and The Book Of Mormon Even now more scriptures we wait for the future to come to knowledgeable Truths Thank you for this type of class. 9:04

I just recently turned 19 this year, and let me tell you, it seems like I've become addicted to watching these kinds of insights ever since I attended the seeking Jesus course. Loved this lesson, it made me realize things about myself that I lack and how I need to see the Savior in my life in a different way. It’s interesting how using our agency to look up scriptures and reading them ourselves can impact us more than by just being passive listeners.. even if the lessons being taught are amazing and full of insight. This was the best Mother’s Day gift I got since I listened to it that day 💕

Hey John, could rhis be used in primary with the oldest primary class (10/11 yo)? Fanastic lesson either way!!

So John, I have a question for you. The church used to have a seminary soundtrack of the songs that went along with those older videos. Is there a way to still get a copy?

Although the topics, videos, music and what has been spoken are always good, I didnt like at all the silent part. Please avoid it doing it again. I love your master classes, except this one!!
