your anatomy has improved so much!! this is so cool too, i personally love sayaka but i feel a big part of the reason many fans of the series hate her is because they can't understand her motives! i would've loved if they had explored them more
Yes! My Top FAVORITE Character from Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc! 🥰😍🤩 The School Uniforms are from the school they went before Hope's Peak, that's why they all wear something else. Aoi also has one but its the sport uniform. But they did wear the same Uniform from Hope's Peak before the tragedy (Except for Celestia) Everone exept for 1, 2 or 3 people don't wear them. I kinda disappointed you gave her short hair since I don’t think it fits to Sayaka. Sayaka's friends are supposed to be like that since they aren't that important to the other participants exept for Sayaka herself.
The redesign came out absolutely beautiful !! And I love the bow around the neck! It kinda like dark symbolism of something being around her neck but at the same time wrapped around with a beautiful lie/bow?? Like with her not having her own agency haha ! Love the design
The only thing I could say as a "criticism" is that you can't see the socks and shoes with this pose, I think they are important to complement the style so it would be good if I could see them, maybe in a reference art before the "official" art.
I'm so glad you're redesigning her! I've never had a strong opinion Sayaka, but she's definitely not talked about enough, and I really liked your opinions and commentary abt her. I'd personally adore if u redesigned other characters from THH, or any of the other Danganronpa games, I love this franchise so much, and I'd really like your opinion abt all the characters and their backstories!

I can't wait to see the others! And the school uniforms only would make sense if school was still in session sence they never do any school activities it doesn't make sence for them to volunteer to wear there uniforms they aren't doing any traditional school activities and are being held hostage by a bear

i love this video, but answering the uniform question I think that they should have pins or something that says "hey i go to hopes peak academy" or something like that. kind of like how some people wear their pride flags on pins or on their wall so when you look at them or their room or whatever, wherever the flag(s) is/are they're basically screaming "IM GAY" or "IM (sexuality) but in this case its when you look at the pin on the character you're reminded that their highschoolers, that they're not like 30 year old adults. speaking of that - i know this is off-topic - but CHARACTER DESIGNS AND AGES. hiyoko looks 8. hifumi looks like a fat 40 year old who got mutated with a pug. gonta looks 25. korekiyo looks 20. shuichi looks 19. kaede looks 13. like??? also everytime i look at ryoma i keep thinking he's 50 like WHAT is it just the voice?? or
Honestly it is kinda disappointing to figure out that the reason Sayaka was killed off, besides being a twist for the players, was because she and Leon were both used as the bases for the other characters- So the creators were tired of seeing the two and just decided, let's kill them
I love the design so much so here's what I interpret from this design (sorry if the description is patchy. also this is just my view.) She had a life spun around the idol industry however due to some finacial difficultys, she had been forced to go along the lines of her manager. later on she gets to the point that she has to go take class to make up for lost time (this is after the financial drama cools). when she stumbles across her fate as either killer or killed, she slowly but surely befriends (or at least within her atempts) alot of the students. She would ask for zodiac signs in order to find the perfect matches. her dedication to zodiacs links to when the financial drama (will not list because idk what to put here). she would end up being the killer of (insert character) and her exocution will be relevent to stars and music. hope you like the description.
To my understanding, the school uniforms are from their old schools that they were in before transferring to Hope's Peak. It'd probably make more sense for them all to wear the Hope's Peak uniform to create the feeling that this is a prison they're forced to be in, but I honestly appreciate getting more of an idea of who they were and what schools they went to before attending Hope's Peak. Also, you're not quite correct about how many people aren't wearing uniforms. All of them wear one. I'm pretty sure Aoi's wearing the gym uniform for her previous school, Leon wears his uniform however he wants because he doesn't care, Celeste completely customized her uniform because she makes her own clothes and I'm guessing refused to wear the basic one, Makoto, Kyoko and Hifumi are only definitely wearing uniforms but with one or two pieces that probably aren't part of their old school's uniform, and Byakuya either went to an elite school where that was his uniform or was homeschooled and didn't necessarily have one.
