Designing TAMAGOTCHIS into MAGICAL GIRLS! ♤ || Design Challenge 

They are so cute. The tamogachis in the bows were such a nice touch

very very cute! (one note tho, violins go on the left shoulder, not the right, so if the missing ruffle was to make way for the violin it’s on the wrong side) as for names maybe melody could be violet? very similar to violin, plus she has purple in her design

Name ideas: For Chit- Lucinda (a play on the popular dog named Lucy and LuLu) For Melody- Lyra (I legit love this name) and For Candy- Madeline (the name sounds magical to me and I it sounds like her personality to me.)

What if medoly's Tamagotchi was a gift from someone who she admired profusely and happened to be a Violinist or just a great musician but for some reason (maybe related to the magical girl thingy, civilian involved into a fight or a magical girl?boy?... ) they passed away leaving it for her to look after it (maybe melody look after it because the og owner didn't even had a chance of doing it since something happened) and now Melody is brought to this new world in honor of this person and also learning how to deal with grief using musical fighting and music in her normal life. Her melody in real life starting kinda with no where to go just happening in a messy begginer way bc she's still confused, getting more agitated and brute as the battles get more hard, until it becomes a beautiful (maybe tragic?) Piece of art at the grand finale. Hope you liked it, sorry if I said something wrong as English is not my first language

14:25 I immdiately imagined a weapon that's like a swinging mace? Except the spiky ball is a giant microphone, lol. maybe it really works and lets out loud sounds on contact that disorient the target? That's probably better for a different idol mahou tho, haha

i love your girls!! i love your idea for Candy, i can completely relate to having an insecure attachment style and inadvertently putting too much pressure on the people around me in that way and it's nice to see it portrayed also in a way that includes recovery!

I love this so much. I think it would be cool if Chit was similar to a character like Luffy from One Piece very goofy, loyal to her friends, but knows when to be serious. For powers she can’t be do similar things to both Luffy and Spinel like turn herself into a spring bounce of off things, spin really fast. I really like her character and I will definitely being drawing her!

So cuuuute! I know it's been 3 months but I love magical girls so it just got my brain working! For Melody's weapon, I imagined she could have a bow that looks like a violin bow if that makes sense? And since you don't want her struggles with getting to play in an orchestra to be cliche, my first thought was that she struggles with chronic pain! I'm an artist myself and chronic pain makes making art consistenly a lot harder. I ended up not pursuing some opportunities bc I was afraid that with my bad mental health and my chronic pain I woudn't be able to finish a project Anyways! Yeah, I just thought that Melody having chronic pain and still wanting to be a violinist would be an intersting conflict not seem often! Loved all of your desings! These girls are precious! Sorry for the rant, and please ignore any mistakes, english isn't my first laguage

For Chit I think her name should be Pepper why? Because it just sounds cute. For Melody I think she should be called Vinny because it sounds like Violin and once again sounds cute. And finally for Candy I think she should be called Reese maybe cus it’s literally a sweet and I bet you can already guess: it sounds cute
