jokichi having a secret partner makes it all so much more evil i love it 😭 edit - maybe in the near future after ryoba eliminates all her rivals she finds out about their relationship and like hunts down the martial arts guy (jokichi and the guy sent letters to each other before ryoba's trial and she finds them, perhaps ?)

i think it would be adorable and hilarious if you failed the game and there was a small ending card of jokichi (i dont know if i spelled that right) and the martial arts club leader being boyfriends to add insult to injury

Your Soko makes me want a game, book, manga, or series about a detective girl that looks just like them with that exact concept. They have to pretend to love the main guy in order to lure out the killer, however along the way as she's spending more time with him, both characters actually do fall for each other.

BTW I LOVE YOUR ART! below is me criticizing storytelling and leaving my own opinion so beware [which is just mine for anyone who reads this im not saying it has to be like this lol] im the only one who hates the idea of the jokichi thing,,,, i personally find it to be an unnecessary addition [and i think if you want evil, or psychological theres a ton of more ways you’d go about that since that doesn’t scratch the surface really? she kidnaps him regardless and manipulates him so they’re not going to be his genuine feelings anyhow, sexuality wouldn’t be a plot point i’d personally consider here if i wanted *dark*. i mean you don’t even have to make him gay for this [for the record im not saying this out of homophobia, im literally queer] so it does feel like its just a way to make him gay. a way you could go about that i suppose though is considering it is the 80s you can make him deathly afraid of someone finding out he’s gay, and she can use this to manipulate him, threatening his secret and could be used for a mind break route. although i personally still don’t love that i don’t think it’d be the worst storytelling! personally i think a way to go about that instead of that is instead of him slowly just getting depressed because of his friends dying, it could be used to make him anxious instead. she could leave hints, make it specific points where it has to be “his fault” he no longer feels like he can speak to anyone and begins to self isolate. this is when she can pick him up from his troubles, while now being closer to manipulate him even more. for the plot point of their marriage being darker, i think by this point he’s already going to have a clear idea of what his wife really is [since…she kidnaps him originally.] his feelings never mattered in this however, only the ideal of their relationship. mind break would be a huge thing for this plot point i feel and especially since they’d need to portray themselves perfectly fine infront of ayano, since i dont think ryoba would want her daughter to necessarily be introduced to their dynamic [and this is also the basis for her to continue the cycle, not see the behind the scenes]

It has nothing to do but Its actually canon that sonoko KNOWS that ryoba is a killer, But didn’t said anything out of fear that Ryoba would harm her (because she knew ryoba is capable of hurting her and getting away with it) Because canonically ryoba did enter in the asylum, and after the trial Sonoko and ryoba NEVER talked again

I liked the concept you had in mind for the characters, but Ryoba's redesign didn't convince me, her design made her look like another character. I know it's an Au. In any case, I would have made the protagonist retain certain features that make her see that she is Ryoba.

Hey there! I really enjoyed your redesign, your art style is simply wonderful. But there was something that made me a bit uncomfortable with, how you include Ghost Girl ADHD. While I appreciate the attempt to portray a character with ADHD, I noticed that her bad grades were attributed to it, which felt a bit off. It's crucial to acknowledge that ADHD manifests differently for everyone, and using it as a justification might inadvertently reinforce stereotypes. As someone who has lived with ADHD all my life, I've encountered the misconception that having good grades means you don't have ADHD. However, ADHD can also manifest in hyperfocus, leading to forgetting basic needs like eating. I understand you didn't intend any harm, but I'd suggest researching ADHD a bit more. Consider portraying neurodivergent characters without attaching specific reasons or justifications to their traits. Keep up the great work!

Honestly I love the idea that he (bisexual) because it a good idea to explain why yandere Chan never had time with her father and once he saw that his daughter was like his mother he abandons his family as he was never attached to family. And it would build character on him.

The designs are good but the backstories are hella confusing. How would the 2nd victim snoop around and make things difficult by searching for a killer if the first kill hasn’t even happened? How would she even know the motive for the killing to pretend to have a crush on a guy? Feels like that character should’ve been much later in the timeline, after a few kills for her to have any idea of a pattern. And you know, would KNOW a killer is on the loose.
