Yo I was in High School went that album came out. I remember Month of the Man and everything! Tical and Dare Iz a Darkside came out the same month! I remember my older brother went to the mall and came back with that joint. I took my little Memorex tape and put in his tape deck and made a dub of that joint. Didn’t listen to it until I got home from school the next day. I went in my room, turned the TV off, put my headphones on and man…….I had no idea the journey that this man was about to take me on. That journey still sticks with me to this day! I love that album! Still my favorite Redman album!

I listened to this doing psychedelics many times and it was always so fun. My visuals would bump to the bass lines of the songs. Everytime the green island intro came on the no matter where I was or how I was doing the room or environment I was in would get really bright as if I was outside (dmt helps lol). Tonight’s da night remix sounded like a PS1 starting noise in reverse on it.
