One TDS is nothing to worry about. I wouldn’t waste time with it just make the salt put it in your tank

Tds is still 0, you just have some salt residue from the last water mixing showing up. Also aerating ro/di water can sometimes result in what is known as tds creep. With the lid off and the water being so pure, it can pull compounds out of the air and will result in a tds reading as well. 👍🏻

If that is messy, you really don't want to see my fish room, lol!
