The reading of the rules at the beginning of each of these videos always has me thinking, "my god, somebody's going to die," and this installment was no exception. Too notch entertainment, always a pleasure to listen to bright and charismatic people discuss a work of art that they've long loved and studied. Hope you both have more or less recovered from this filming.

Not sure how many people saw this in theaters, but I saw endings B and C. I didn't see the first ending; as there were no theaters playing near me. They even handed out paper clue sheets for each ending. This one of my favorite movies. I've seen it many times
You're in good company, friend! I've heard stories about certain cinemas only showing certain endings Kinda neat, but also kinda confusing. Like when theaters thought Pulp Fiction was sent to them in the wrong order, and re-edited all the scenes in chronological order.
In honor of the hard liqu- hard work you did: Yes, I got the Head of The Class joke. It just wasn't quite the same after Howard Hesseman was replaced by Billy Connolly.
As you were reading the rules & kept showing your glass o'whiskey I kept thinking.....I wonder how much you have off screen because you're gonna be sloshed.....& then you said you have 2 bottles & I subscribed 🤣🤣 Clue is literally playing on loop when I go to sleep at night, it's my comfort movie. Occasionally I switch it out with Goonies or Never Sleep Again (Nightmare on Elm St Franchise Documentary) for a day or 2, but then right back to Clue❤
It's Seth's comfort movie, too! It's endlessly rewatchable. He and I just recently caught it in theaters for a sort of Rocky Horror-esque viewing party, and had the best time. The whole place went nuts for the singing telegram!
I feel like ya'll need to be sippin out of big gulps through straws, good lawd🤣🤣 Soneone needs to send you a beer hat with the straws & you can fill it with your liquor instead👍 Also, this is going to make me go watch a couple episodes of Drunk History immediately 🤣🤣
I feel like person being slapped would also make a good wildcard lol. Have to drink the whole thing several times. A few other rules I thought of were- police are talked about or arrive, Mr Green says he didint do it, someone drinks or needs a drink, someone falls over/ is pushed
Someone falling or being pushed was on my list at one point - good call! We narrow it down to 9 rules and a Wild Card though, so we're not dead by the end. 😄
I've slept on it and came up with more lol- someone talks about killing someone, someone uses a secret passageway, door slams, someone goes off on their own and every time blackmail is discussed

@@spacecastleshow hard to say, im not huge on movies but a few of my favorites are princess and the frog and Mary poppins (the original, not the newer one) from Disney, howl's moving castle from ghibli and the last unicorn
I got the joke about Howard Hesseman's character being Head of the Class at the Police Academy, because he was the teacher in the show Head of the Class and he was Captain Lassard (Commandant Lassard's brother) in Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (though I'm not entirely sure the Police Academy part was intentional). Too bad there was no way to put WKRP In Cincinnati in there too.
You should do this with Team StarKid musicals. They are known for parodying such things as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Batman, Disney, etc. The imperfections are fun and the music/songs awesome. One of the drinks can be any time someone curses because that happens in many of them. Please consider it as it would be hilarious.
@@spacecastleshow Awesome. Even watching their stuff again can be fun. Making a drinking game while doing it could equal chaos, haha. Have you seen their 45 minute version of Christmas Carol? It could be fun for the season. It's got 80s allusions to singers of the time and could be fun trying to guess the references. Just some thoughts. I've seen a few comics try to do Clue, and it never seems to work, which I think is partially the setting, the 50s is the perfect setting for this, especially the early 50s, because of the red scare.
@@spacecastleshow True, but it also helps how it changed society for a time. While McCartyhyism focused on communism, which was admittedly was broadly defined, it also created an overall nationwide paranoia and betterthanyouism, which makes a blackmail based story be so believable at the time.
For this movie.. maybe should count the times you won't be drinking ( by these rules😂) Keep Drinks on the Lips 👄🍷🥃🍻 ( Ps. Next bonus: ALL the Screams 😂)
12:13 - Mr. Green looking. That should have been a clue the character wasn't gay. Although maybe it's a natural human instinct to look at cleavage when it's practically in your face.

Totally get this! But, the point isn't really to watch the movie itself. We recommend using these drinking game rules to enjoy watching the full movie on your own or with friends! Or revisit an old favorite with us, if you've seen the movie already! ❤
