Yes you can refill this HP 123 xl. But as you told it's not used since 3 years, so you can try filling it and check wheather it prints or not. And you can buy the ink refills online links are in discription for best brand. And also you can buy offline whichever is available at your place ask shopkeeper for best ink refills.

It's HP deskjet ink advantage 4178 printer. You can print 8k to 10k pages from Balck ink bottle. And 3k to 5k pages of color bottles. This data is as per the product's description. This may vary depending on the upload printer, ink bottle size, and what you print.

Thanks for the video however I have found one more jugad to successfully show the ink tank full in the printer software. I did it today and it was successful. procedure remove all the clogged ink inside the cartridge. Remove cartridge caps, remove the sponge inside the cartridge and troroughly wash the cartridge under the cold running water and wash the sponge as well. then keep water for boiling in a pot once it boils switch off the flame and insert the cartridge completely in the hot water for 30 secs to 1 minute hold it with a tong very lightly dont put pressure on cartridge tank . you will find the tank head completly cleaned people say that dont touch the circuit but its all fake nothing happens to the cartridge circuit. you will have to do this processs for 2 to 3 times till all the ink is out let it dry for a the entire day dont leave any water inside it should be completely dry even dry the sponge inside the cartridge once dry put the sponge inside the cartridge and then refill the ink and put in the printer it will show you as good as a new cartridge. Thank you so much for your helpful trick. Hope other will find this trick helpful. But you have to do this procedure very carefully if the circuit breaks then the cartirage is of no use and also the cartirage is to opened very carefully because we have to close it as it before like seil pack. So do this on you own risk

This won't work for new printers as they don't really check the level. The chip in the cartridge has a unique serial number, then the printer knows when it's a new cartridge and then calculated the amount of ink used based on number of prints. After that once the ink is over it writes to the chip in the cartridge that the ink is over. So after that even if you boil it or do wash it, nothing can change the EMPTY status in the chip

Yes it will not show updated cartridge because we have refilled the old cartirage show the printer detects the old configuration only . So you can ignore the ink Level. It will print perfectly.

Some printers have cartridge protection on. You can turn off in printers settings. You can search on RU-vid for your printer model about this. And in cartirage level on printer it will show low cartirage but when u print it prints perfectly.

Some printers have cartirage protection on in printer advanced settings you can off that. And when you refill any cartridge the printer detects it older one. And Ink level will also show low. But when you print it prints well. So, You can ignore ink level and Cartirage error.

Ha chalega you can fill either black cartilage or color cartirage. For color cartirage you need three Color combination. And for black you just need black ink .

If you have done all the procedure shown in this video and after all you cartilage is clogged means it's not printing or skipping. Try this solution, remove cartilage and use the suction tool and suck it until the injection body is filled with some ink. And after this try printing

Yes sometimes it doesn't detect refilled cartilage. So clean the cartilage face properly and go to printer settings in laptop and turn off the safe cartilage mode.

Brother i used needle ink, but now my cartridge is clogged i used everything deep cleaning, hot water etc. But nothing happen. My experience was not good now i need to buy new cartridge which is costly pg47 approx 700😂😂.
