I have cartridge MLT d111 that showing no print cartridge I have filled with 80 gm powder and 3-5 print has taken by this cartridge what i need to do for this.
What chip is sitting there on that small PCB? If it is just a serial EEPROM memory it should be possible to reprogram it without replacing it. I did that with SCX-4200 using Arduino as a programmer and it always worked (there was I2C or maybe SPI serial EEPROM inside the cartridge and the content could be easily found online).
It's not a normal EEPROM, samsung has become smarter. I think it's not possible, or it's so difficult that it's easier to buy a new compatible chip for some dollars
Nice video, i was wondering if there is a way to do this same install with a printer heat hole making tool. I have one of those and it would make it much faster for screws what type of screws do you mean?
You can use a printer heat hole making tool, but in this case you can't clean the internal components: drum, charge roller and so on. print quality may be not perfect, expecially after some hundreds of prints. not important the type of screws you use, better short screws
hi thanks for the video you told that the chip is the page counter and we can use until it blink red, if we reset the page counter by settings ,still it is smart or ?
viandant5 I cover the chip with a small cellophane tape. It works fine. Just one small compromise- it won't show me the percentage of ink anymore but the toner status blink will be gone.
Hello, I just bought the M2022w and I have a few questions, 1) Does the cartridge come with the plug that was used to seal it (the one shown at 5:27) or was this cartridge customized before? I ask because I'm seeing people melting a hole through the reservoir, but I don't know if it's needed or if they're just being lazy and don't want to tear the whole thing apart. 2) Is it really necessary to replace the reset chip? User U Refill Toner clams to have refilled eleven times without replacing the chip ever (/watch?v=81bU-hJRz4k) and just ignoring the warning light.
the cartridge was not customized, it came with that plug. you can drill a hole through the reservoir but in this case you can't clean all the components of the cartridge. it's necessary to change the chip, but in some old driver version may be not
I have an MLT-D101s Cartridge which I got refilled for the first time recently. After refill, it isn't printing properly. It would not print one half of the page, sometimes completely light print and not dark enough. The results were brilliant for the genuine ink, but new refilled one is not satisfactory. Only once after the refill was done, the print of a page was really dark and good but afterwards it is worse. Shown it in almost every shop and none of them are able to come with a solution. One person just today changed the ink saying it to be of a bad quality but his ink gave the same output. The Developer Roller is not completely black even after 5-6 print. What could be the problem? Kindly tell me what could be the problem as the new cartridge cost a lot and it is not affordable.
change the ink does nothing.in case of cartridge that doesn't print half of page I think the problem is one of the side cover not in correct position, or some component (drum or developer roller or charge roller) in wrong position due to wrong position of one of the side covers
HELP! I did the refill the way is is shown in this video, however the toner is leaking from the device. Could this harm the printer? That aside, it still shows that i have 0% cartidge left (even though i have a ML 2160 printer and used a toner compatible with it). For some reason, though, i printed some pictures, however they are full of vertical lines that have different amounts of toner, making them of pretty bad quality. I d appriciate any help.
it still show 0% cartridge left because you have to change the cartridge chip. for the other quality problem, verify if the developer roller is in its proper position, or if the mylar blade of the developer roller is damage. the cartridge should not leak toner.
viandant5 So the quality has to do with something not being in the right position, cant it be something else? Can you please be a bit more specific in what i should do? It just is that i suck with such staff and i worry i ll fuck something up.
+Prasanta Patra may be the developer roller blade is out of position, but I would check the side plate, it's easy they are in wrong position, the plastic tabs are a problem if not cut properly
I refilled my Samsung MLT-D101S and getting 5/6 horizontal lines from top to bottom of page. Also Slight grey patch on the left side from top to bottom. Please tell me how to correct it ? Please see the scan images s21.postimg.org/4xf7b38nb/faulty_toner_2.jpg s24.postimg.org/3u5qo01id/faulty_toner_1.jpg
I did it excactly the way you recomended to do it but it was not successful. Here you can see the result: postimg.org/image/6ljhrxvjn/ I made many copies and all of them look like the copy in the link. Do you know what might be wrong?
