UPDATE -- Please note that since this video was published, I have since been forgoing the paint stripping process and applying the refinish materials over the stock paint jobs after a light sanding with 180 grit sand paper. The paint finish and adhesion is considerably better on recent foam aircraft than at the time this was done and so I find it's no longer necessary.
Welcome to my how-to series on refinishing a foam warbird (#pimpmyfoamy). In this series we are refinishing an FMS P-51 and transforming it into Ken Wagner's "Lady Alice." In this first video, I provide a no-nonsense assembly review of the airframe and show how to then strip the paint so we can start filling panel lines and imperfections. You can read the full article including links to the materials I used on my blog at wp.me/p5LuFX-dm
