In this video we puit both refit refit's up against 2 of the Giant Dominion Battleships. These are the same ships Red Squad failed to deal with! Played in Star Trek Bridge Commander Kobayashimaru.

"Ya don't tug on Superman's cape! Ya don't spit in the wind! Ya don't pull the mask on the old Lone Ranger and you don't mess around Jim!" (Captain Kirk)
I remember buying Star Trek Bridge Commander in 2002 and absolutely loving the heck out of that game. I believe the computer I played it on was a Pentium 4 with a Voodoo graphics card that made it look great and was super smooth. My other big game I bought about the same time was Warcraft III. The early 2000s was such a great time for Star Trek games.
Wow, those advanced quantums just punish Dominion war era ships. The Connie refit is a really handsome ship. I can't say anything bad about the Excelsior refit, either.
😲😨Jeepers that was one amazing sight. wow.. well done Captain on the 1st battle... they should have included these REFIT , REFIT into Picard since most of the ships are refits.. just saying.. and the 2nd battle eeeh.. I do not want to get on Captain Retro-Badger's bad side ouch and eeeh.. those blue mega pulse things and powerful .. never seen those.. wow.. and love the last bit, whom was firing on you.. that was wicked and the whole top of the saucer section was scorched.. crikey.. still well done Captain.. yes once Brex saying '' Captian ... ..' and boom lol.. love the 2 ships up against the Dominion.. again well done! 😊🖖
The thing I like about the Excelsior the neck looks like it has a protector on it, like extra armor for what I've always felt was a weak spot to be targeted
The Excelsiors for the slipstream/transwarp refit&MVAM, it could have the Prometheus arrow shaped saucer section with the saucer section being docked 1/3 back.
I have to say, those Dominion dreadnoughts are not built right. Their beam weapons are too weak and they put too much power into the slow heavy batteries that you correctly note are for installations. Battleships are big for a reason, and that is to carry big guns. The standard beam weapons on this should be a bit more powerful, and they should also have a heavy battery of beam weapons as well. Otherwise it is like building a Yamato size ship and putting 8-inch guns all over it. The new Hutet refit I have seen is more demonstrative of how a super-battleship should be equipped: a few super-heavy beam weapons to knock down the shields of a enemy capital ship in the alpha strike, torrent of torpedoes and then heavy beams across the hull for its 360 firing arcs that still do a lot of damage on their own for the pitched battle. I would like to see someone tweak that Dreadnaught.
@@ts757arse Correct, BBs have battlegroups. Dominion doctrine has BBs covered by a big wing of attack ships. During the War they also had a Cardassian Cruiser squadron as well. I would like to see more Large Cruisers (proper doctrinal term) with near battleship armament but much faster. Those operate alone for cruiser killing, commerce killing and deep raids.
@@RetroBadgerGaming Ah, ok...ummm..where did it come from? There was another one in addition to the one that was fighting with you? Did your glorious battle open a portal to the mirror universe? If so they will sing of this tale in Sto-Vo-Kor.
