It will be so great if there's an actual male singer who can sing like this.

This can represent so many things. For me it represents mental health, I struggle with anxiety but I haven't told anyone so sometimes when I look at myself it is like looking a someone else.

The raspiness added a more masculine sound from the low pitched Christina Aguilera voice. And Im loving it!!!

i think this is christina aguillera original music and just adjusted to a male voice in a software.

People saying that this is ruined by using original lyrics are counting out this interpretation: imagine a trans man singing this. He was born a woman, and has had to struggle with his identity and his reflection not showing who he is inside. He still sees the woman or girl he once was whenever he looks in the mirror. Hence "who is that girl I see?" "When will my reflection show who I am inside?"
