I’ve always loved this sound particularly when sung with power, emotion and conviction. Like Lea Solonga’s original you convey Mulan’s internal struggle between who she is and who she “should” be. I feel you reflect (excuse the pun) on your own experiences when you sing especially in the heartbreaking songs to do.

After listening to your “I’ll make a man out of you” I find myself here again. So many good memories from when Mulan originally came out. It’s amazing how songs can transport you back to a time and place. At a time of isolation, for most of the world, these memories are more important than ever. We thank you. 🙏🏻

this song reminds me of myself so much, which is why i cried when i first heard this song. i’ve always been forced to play this part when i was little, but now that i have grown, i can finally be myself. the emotion that was shown through this was chill-inducing. i love this cover so much, and thank you for blessing us with your voice.

Wow that belt!!!! (Not the waist kind LOL) this is amazing and I love it sooo much!! Any tips for vocal health when belting? I’ve been trying to learn for years and I just- yeah nah 😂 what’s the highest you can belt? Usually I’m at around Bb5- Eb5 depending on the day haha I love you!!!

Hi Carol!!! :) Thank you so so so much! So, I guess the thing I always try to keep in mind when belting is to keep my mouth very open to let the full sound out & also to make sure it's supported with a nice deep breath while pushing from the diaphram! I'm not sure what my highest belting note is! haha
