We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your day with us! Thank you for detailing our company name and website in your video. We hope to see you again someday. Chiara at Serca Tours Ltd.
Great series! I did a very similar tour in 2018, but I didn’t see any hairy cows. Doing this cruise in the fall of 2024, so hopefully will get to see the cows somewhere.
Loved, loved, loved this tour although I have not watched Outlander (but maybe now I will). We did a tour from Greenock with Did over Scotland to Loch Lomond, the Trosacks and Stirling Castle with a stop at the Hairy cows and lunch in Calendar. So much fun reliving this with you.
Simply amazing and beautiful. Thank you for showing us Scotland I really have enjoyed the series and keep showing us different parts of the world. Dee I just love when you see a animal your heart and your smile brings me joy. Keep up the good work. Thank You.
I had done a Land Tour with CIE of the entire Uk....I do hope you got to see the Cliffs of Moher...Ring of Kerry....And the Roman Baths, York England that has the Shambles (WONDERFUL)......along with the most beautiful part of England the Cotswolds...And the enchanting Wales...
This tour was a favorite of mine. Every stop was so picturesque! I really enjoyed seeing the inside of the castles and the village was beautiful. Dee, your photos were gorgeous and I loved watching you feed the cows. You were having a ball!! Jay, your videos are amazing and your narration always makes me smile. It is a real pleasure to see these locations through your eyes. 😀👍
In your last video, when you had a choice to take the high road or low road, I'd expected you to break out in song ("You take the high road and I'll take the low road, and I'll be in Scotland afore ye. But me and my true love will never meet again on the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond."). When you didn't, I thought maybe you didn't know the song or have ever seen the old (1964) Disney movie "The Three Lives of Thomasina." It's a cat movie, set in Scotland, and I learned that song from seeing the movie several times as a kid. Now that I see you'd learned on this trip how to pronounce Loch Lomond, I know for sure you'd never heard that song. It's beautiful, and you should look it up! Loved this video AND your quick review of the castle latrine. LOL!
I feed the cows at the same spot. Made the hubs go buy a second bag of food 🐮🐮. The bull head butted the calf and tried to eat all of the food. Rude. Lol. Separated them and was also able to scratch the baby on his nose. Best stop ever. Coming home through customs, got stopped as I proudly said yes, I was around live stock. Would you like to see my pictures???
Dee, I skip with delight just like you when I see something I've been looking forward to (but strange in a 69 year old but who's lookin?). I have also been brought to instant tears by the beauty of some of my favourite architecture (read St. marks in Venice, the pyramids etc). Pretty emotional I guess, but feel so blessed to be able to see the wonderful places I have read about and seen on TV. Loving this series❤❤
❤ Thank you for posting this tour. I was having a meltdown because I wanted to see these places without having to gather 7 people to make it affordable! I booked with Serca in September! Thank you!
We were visiting England for a month, staying in Edinburgh, and did the outlander tour. My wife really enjoyed it very much as an outlander die hard, our tour originated from Edinburgh.
Wow, this log is my new fav. Brilliant editing, videos stunning, commentary as dry as the British humor is. That's a compliment. 😅😅 Been there many times, but it has been 30 or more yrs. So Thank You.
Oh my gosh! A bucket list item for me for sure! Was wondering if Dee has read the Outlander books? If you enjoy the show you’d love the books! So much more in depth detail of the story. My book husband is Jamie, I just love him. Sam Heughan brought Jamie to life for sure!
Hi, have watched all your videos, very entertaining and lovely scenery, could you please let me know the name of the Scottish music that is being played in the background, thank you both so much for sharing your journey. My wife and I have done 15 cruises with Princess Cruises, last one being in 2019, keep up the videos.
Loved this video. I have read all the Outlander books and watch the show . I am a big Outlander fan and Scotland is on my bucket list . I love how Dee got excited and loved Jay’s narration. Thanks for sharing this was so looking forward to watching this video
I’ve been trying to decide what “bucket list” cruise I want to do for my 50th birthday and this has made me decide British Isles for sure. It was on the list, but now I’m 95% sure I’ll be booking this or similar for 2026! Thanks for your detailed videos!
Thank you for going on the Outlander tour. My sister has a home in Inveraray. When I go to visit her I want to go see Outlander sites, but she makes me go see castles, standing stones in Kilmartin Glen, and whisky distilleries instead.🤦♀️
Hi guys! We love watching you at the best of times but seeing you in Scotland was great, though kinda weird.😂 We are so happy that you like our country. Dee, you are sort of right with the name Johnson being from english origin, however, Johnston is Scottish 😊 Can’t wait til your next instalment!!
So glad to see you on European and British Isles cruises. I love the port intensive cruises in Europe. So many new ports and foods. When you did the tour do you also tip the driver like excursions on the ship? Thanks so much. 😊
Ah, we put our gear list in the description of every video for the tech curious. I can never remember the model number, but it's a Canon Powershot point-and-shoot. Super easy!! :D
When we went on our Greek Islands cruise 5 years ago we got a Schwab Debit card. You can do transactions any where in the country and get the ATM fee reimbursed at the end of billing period. Also works great when not wanting to carry alot of cash for the Adult Arcade Loving the review. My folks were from Scotland-Glasgow and Paisley-such beautiful country.
I know that it isn't Scotland but you can find several interactive farms in North Carolina to get your hairy coo fix...and there are fields of them along the Blue Ridge Parkway. =o)
For this port-intensive itinerary with early arrival times, we needed fast and easy. The dining room takes too long and the buffet is too crowded, ha ha!! :P
Great video guys! ❤ we are going in September. You said that you got money out a few times. I'm trying to get from my bank here. What do you recommend I get in pounds and euros? Thank you
We pulled about 200 Pounds and 100 Euros and we still didn’t spend it all. Depends on how much cash you think you’ll need personally for tipping, etc. Most shops and places take credit cards, so that’s primarily what we used.
HHMMM we've gone and done it again: Put accessible toilets at an attraction that doesn't look all that accessible. Where's the Logic. Does look interesting though.
