I found this show a week ago and have watched all the episodes so far. I’m white, married, 30yo straight male, loving these segments and the show in general. Arlette is real. And she listens to everyone equally and removes judgement, or bias. She’s got the realest relationship based interview show I’ve ever seen. She’s not programming who she invites on. Fake people, and real people are going to come on the show alike, just like in real life it’s a mix. The show also sheds light on the misdirection of desire, and that judgment poor at times, and is seen as an imminent threat. Defensive people, gloating people, timid, meek, toxic, selfish, loving, joyous, chipper, solemn, bleek, angry, self obsessed, gentle, charming, observant, quiet, loud, disrespectful, pleasant, condescending, passive-aggressive, reasonable, it’s all there, and Arlette listens and her reactions are genuine and funny. People share who they are, what they’re looking for, and what they need in a partner, and challenge each other by asking them to answer deep and personal questions. It’s beautiful. This show is groundbreaking.

He wasn’t moving fast. It’s just that men who want a legit relationship don’t play and don’t waste their time or yours. My guy let me know when he stepped up that he was gonna marry me. And every conversation and interaction was along those lines. But it worked because I was wanting the real and knew I was deserving of a real relationship. So it didn’t scare me when he was zero to one trillion because why not seize what you want when you see exactly what you want. Been engaged for 2 years and getting married in a month 🥰

This show is hilarious. Love from the UK. What I love most is how many different ways the contestants manage to say they are unemployed 🤣

I respect him for not stooping down to her level and villainizing her the way that she did him. She claims to not be triggered, but she was obviously bothered by the topic of her confidence and her financial circumstances enough to drag him through the mud and expose intimate conversations that they had, that should never have been our business. So what if he wanted a threesome? So what if he wanted to have a baby with you at a specific timeframe? So what if he said that you typically were not his initial type? I don’t think that makes him a bad person. She claims to not be triggered, but everything she said says otherwise. She kept firing shots that had no rhyme or reason, but to (unsuccessfully) expose him. It was very disappointing to hear how low she got with some of the things that she said about him, and it says a lot about her character. I pray she addresses her pain one day and thoroughly heals.

This is so easy to see. This young lady is projecting and she is truly in denial about herself, her past, and her insecurities. She truly was protecting herself and making him the villain. I am a good judge of character *for the most part* and I am not male centered, but she clearly is emotionally driven. I feel sorry for her because although she's very well spoken and somewhat self aware, she unaware of her TRAUMA. The fact she denies it, it's glaring. She truly messed up a good thing if you ask me. Bless them both.

This summarises why dating in this era is scary. Miscommunication that leads to a whole character assassination ONLINE! No shade to the show, the catch up is great as always and so delicately handled with class as always! It’s more so the boldness to speak with such strength on someone you barely know.

Wow! this one threw me for a loop. I'm a master of body language and the way it started off I was like nah, they didnt go on a date, but when they said they did I was in shock and then the way they were talking about spending so much time together I was actually happy to see and hear that and then BOOM!!! Still seemed salvagable but her mind was made up. Best of luck to both.

Respectably, she shows signs of a toxic lack of communication and someone who doesn't break down context. I promise you I am not being biased but you can see that she has some triggering traits and I feel that sometimes, women can be protected from being victimized for emotional outbursts or behavior while a man can tend to have less grace sent his way. She seems as though she didn't understand as much though I do also feel that he probably said things unfairly. She does have to know that the life she chose would need a man to ensure that he is making the right decision as much as possible.

I don’t think he’s a bad guy at all. I think he was actually moving like he wanted something real with her. I just think she took it personally when he wanted to talk about her past life so much. At least he wanted to communicate some men don’t and start a relationship and cheat because they’re insecure about your past and don’t trust you. I’ve learned from experience men that have been hurt or trying to understand you will talk about it for a few months. That helps some people. He went to therapy that man really saw his self with that woman. I feel like regardless if it’s him or not she’s gonna have to get prepared for those hard conversations if she wants something real and yes it’s because of her past. Sorry but it is what it is she may be a changed woman but no man is gonna brush it off so easy they are gonna wanna know everything.
