i did do and will SOMEWHAT like the hornets ALMOST as much as the bucks because i did do and will really LOVE alonzo mourning ALMOST as much as the legendary kareem abdul-jabbar
It isn't fair to compare him and Ray. Ray has been playing in a softer league of defense. Reggie was guarded by MJ, J. Dumars, Starks, Jeff Hornacek, Clyde Drexler, Thunder Dan Majerle, Ron Harper, his brother-from-another-mother, Reggie Lewis, and even more. Plus, there was hand-checking, and defenders weren't called for the silliest of plays.
@@luke7277 agreed with everything you said except for ray creating his shot way better I disagree with that Reggie Miller was lethal from three point land bruh
@@luke7277 And Ray Allen didn't come into the league until the mid-nineties so he didn't get a chance to play against all them great players like Reggie Miller did
I was at this game. I wish they had showed the last few minutes. The Hornet fans were, including myself, were cheering for Reggie to get 60. I remember him taking a 3 at the end, however he missed, and you could hear the "AHHHHH" go through the crowd. I was a season ticket holder for the Hornets, and it was the only time I witnessed the Hornets fans cheering fro someone on the other team. Reggie made an everlasting impression on me and the Hornet fans that night.
Look at Reggie driving to the hole for layups, runners and floaters and they say all he did was come off screens and curls for 3 point shots. He had a deadly mid-range game and a could put it on the floor. In today's game he would easily average 25-30 pts a game in this perimeter NBA style of play in the modern era. Back then shooters wasn't respected. With hand checking you could push a shooters hips while he elevated for a jumper, put your foot under his landing space and hit his wrist and elbow and they wouldn't call a foul unless you we're Micheal Jordan 91-98 because he was the leagues money maker just like the NFL protects Tom Brady. Professional Sports have been rigged for years. Its big business because of money. Only Illuminati affiliated players win multiple championships.
Don't get it twisted, reggie was a cold ahhs marksman in his day. Imo he's the closest to steph before we had steph (i think he had the best 3 point game for 2 seasons or something like that i won't pretend to know exactly but the point is, he was Cold!
please tell me how you all feel about me asking what if jeff van gundy lenny wilkens larry brown don nelson john wooden phil jackson and/or red auerbach were the head coaches of alonzo mourning
reggie miller scored 57 but this wasn't a playoff game and please tell me who you all feel was the most elite in the playoffs between the 94 95 and 98 pacers 93 and 94 knicks and 97 heat since they were led by superstars reggie miller patrick ewing and alonzo mourning
@@rucianapollard70981992 young Reggie used to put the ball on the floor way more than people give him credit for just like Klay. He was an all around scorer you watch his face up game. Footwork was insane
reggie and ray are def comparable....and i agree it was more physical back then but dont act liek reggie didnt run through 3 screens to get his shots off
+GhostD0G8 Reggie could drive in his later days, Allen could dunk like crazy early in his career. Miller tried to play D later on, but Allen rarely TRIED his hardest on d. Miller was much more physical, had Iverson hurt him, he'd have tackled him.
Reggie battled you on D. Don't let anyone tell you he didn't. He may not have been a great defender, but he was effective and you weren't gonna have an easy night against on him on either end.
the best shooting guards ever literally always have and will be #1 oscar robertson #2 michael jordan #3 jerry west #4 sam jones #5 bill sharman #6 hal greer #7 larry costello #8 earl monroe #9 george gervin and #10 gail goodrich
