@@LFonzus thats what happens when you have too much talented guys on one team, you have to reduce their roles, and it worked out, they all complemented each other, but had to sacrifice certain aspects of their game

He definitely sacrificed a lot but to be fair he was already 30+ when he went to Boston after he kept losing in Seattle... I can respect that he valued winning over stats but he was still nearing the end of his prime so it only made sense Edit: unlike another great player from the same draft in Allen Iverson who I wish could’ve changed his mentality like Ray

Looking back at these highlights makes me wonder what Klay Thompson could do if he was ever the #1 option Edit: definitely not as skilled as a ball handler to create his own shot but Klay’s movement without the ball and ability to completely ignore a defender in his face is really a lot like Ray Allen

Good Man Yeah I just meant consistently... he’s never been the guy to handle it off the dribble and make plays for other people as well as himself - he’s more of an off ball, running around screens type of guy and can still average 20+ doing that because he’s a phenomenal player

Once again, people saying anything without knowing anything. KG got a season ending injury in the 08-09 season. Without KG, Celtics lose to Orlando in the 2nd round after being up 3-2. KG comes back a shell of himself the next season then they go up 3-0 on Orlando and finally win in 6. They make it to the Finals again. Clearly, you werent watching back then because the players on the 07-08 team have stated that KG was the best player on that team. The whole culture of the team changed when KG arrived. Why? Fisher's an ok defender. But Kirilenko is another beast, that dude was looooooooong and could do everything on defense. You're actually supposed to shoot just before at the peak of your jump. Because if you shoot at the peak, it turns your jumper into a two motion shot, which makes your jumper more rigid and inconsistent. You can definitely succeed with a two motion jumper, but you're progress will take a lot longer. There aren't many two motion shooters in the league now. LeBron, Jimmy Butler, and Westbrook are one of the last few players in the league to have a two motion jumper.
