If Reggie can’t wait this coming Sunday I can’t wait too...... But Reggie I’m going to tip my hat to you, you gave it all you got. You were scrawny little kid but daMn you play so hard. I miss the old NBA.
To this day MJ holds grudges. It’s who he is and that’s how he’s the GOAT. In his interview two weeks ago, Reggie had said he’d might punch MJ if he saw him today. What do ya think GP’s thinking right now? That’s just how it was back then.
I’m from Chicago and I hated you when we were playing. But me and my friends loved your game and style. But you are must see on your Dan Patrick interviews. Much respect
Food for thought... we are currently in LeBrons age 35 year... lets take a stroll back into Jordan's age 35 year... Scoring title First team all NBA Load management ? Yeah right played all 82 games plus playoffs Defense like no other... Hmm let me see if im forgetting anything.... oh yeah Ring.....🐐
MJ didn't think twice about Reggie during their career, they weren't comparable. Reggie was a good player that slid into the HOF because of his broadcasting career. MJ never worried about Reggie, nor should he have.
Watch MJ not even mention Reggie by name in either episode. Just gloss right over him lol oh man that would be the dirtiest way to do him. I love Reggie he is still our guy in indiana, but man that would be hilarious.
At one time when he was covering Jordan, Dan was a huge Jordan fan and it was obvious. Something definitely happened between them at the end of Jordan's run where Dan now is always trying to take subtle jabs at Jordan and his legacy.
Reggie Miller was having a great game in the game 7 (22 points on 7/12) and Michael Jordan switched on reggie in the 4th quarter and SHUT HIM DOWN to 0 point...couldn't even shoot the ball (0/1 in the 4th quarter for one of the elite player of all time in the clutch). That was an amazing defensive performance and they're right...that Pacers team (one more) had far more talents than the Bulls.
Great Reggie as always. This guy is a true competitor I strongly disagree on this BS of cancelling the season. Imagine you re Bron. You want this chance. You cant just take the chip out of the equation and just say OK SEE YA NEXT SEASON. THERE are legacies at stake. Huge moNey involved. You CANNOT fuck with that!!!
So Many NBA Greats like Reggie Miller, Gary Payton, Shaq, Kobe, Larry Bird, and Magic recognize MJ as the GOAT and people have the temerity to put their ignorant comments about the 80s & 90s being a weak league. All you Bronsexuals need to stop. If the Greats say he was the GOAT, then it doesn’t matter what any of you LeBron fan boys say. Your problem too is that you think Nick Wright and Shannon Sharpe validate your beliefs that LBJ is the GOAT, when in reality you know he isn’t even better than Kobe, Duncan, KD, or Kawhi, with that said, he’s not even close to the level of Kareem, Magic, Bird, Wilt, Russell, or Hakeem!!! And BTW, what’s your excuse for Bron Bron getting punished by Dirk in 2011? LeBron is the Greatest On-court Actress Today! #flopqueen
Hearing how Miller agonizes decades later because of a lost jump ball tells you how dumb that win-at-all-costs mentality is. It is a terrible way to live your life.
You're telling me the most famous athlete in the history of the planet, worth a zillion dollars is dumb? What are you doing with your life that's better than what MJ did with his life?
@@sr.chiqitibum8607 That is the curse and blessing of all hyper successful people. That mentality is why they are the .01% top. Your mentality is why you are satisfied with being ordinary and are not exceptional.
@@sdaoud31 When he won in the 90's only the Bulls had more than one super-star on the team. So what's your point. My point is if he's so great why didn't he win. Because the best team wins.
@@josephjakubec3171 Players always think their era is the best. If you look at what era the Top 100 players of all time played in, the 90's have the least.
@@sdaoud31 Let's talk Hall of Famers. not All-Stars. LBJ had played every team in the finals with multiple HOF's. Same can't be said for M Jeff. Dan Marleje? Seriously?
@@sdaoud31 I actually think Karrem is the greatest player of all-time. He played against the greatest players in history at his position and dominated for 2 decades.
I love hearing Reggie's analysis. Well spoken, thoughtful, and enthusiastic! He was wrong in his story though... Pacers were up by 3, they lost the jump ball and Kerr hit the 3 to tie.
I went thru comments looking to see if anyone else notice this and brought it up. Reggie talking how the losing moments play over in his head but doesn't recall correctly. If I remember right MJ did the jump ball
Sting Rey Reggie spoke about those games on a previous episode. Talked about how good the games were. Also mentioned that Rodman was really tough in those games - all around game.
Actually, most trainers have said they have the ideal bodies. Tall, lean, trim, long arms, big hands and a lot of quick twitch muscle. They just lack the actual boxing skillset.
Does Dan dislike Jordan I'm just asking?..he's always comparing what Jordan did versus what Lechoke do.. I'm sorry correction ..The little man Child who seeks attention in this social society....
There is definitely some history there that Dan does not like Jordan. I can't think back to a conversation about Jordan on the show where Dan didn't try to make some type of argument about LeBron surpassing Jordan as the GOAT. Dan wishes it could happen so bad, and frequently points to excuses for LeBron to make him feel better about the fact that he is not greater than Jordan.
@@HawkingRegime13 Absolutely...so it's not just me.. Because at one time it seemed that he praise Jordan but now it's like every chance he get to belittle Jordan and promote LeBron as a better player... he does..
FCBarca0905 They went to the semi-finals and got robbed. Of course the fluff piece doesn’t tell you that. Then the team was dismantled and lost again when MJ came back after quitting on his teammates the first time. Stop believing the fairytale.
Im Brad yes they lost when he came back in the middle of the season not 100% fitted to play basketball and the following year they started the route to another 3-peat! They all had their part in those championships but Jordan was the difference factor between winning and losing whether people like it or not. Pippen continued playing after Jordan retired in 98 how many rings did he win?
This docu series is getting old. episode 7 in particular was lame af. originally, the bouncing around in time was cool, but it's starting to suck and get repetitive and boring. other than the GP angle, episodes seven and eight sucked
I thought the second half of episode 7 was the best part of the series so far. We were finally getting some of that behind the scenes stuff they've been talking about but not showing that often.
@@HarryFunmaker Yeah, I was unimpressed to a degree I can't even fathom. All this build up about this raw footage. What dod they show? Am I getting censored version? I read articles in SI at the time, or a little after, that gave more detail. The Jordan Rules was way better than The Last Dance and the medium should've helped....boring AF
