Yes. Seems frank, confident, unafraid to say his stuff, but apparently always respectful. At l ast as much as I can follow from out here in da boonies. He never seems ... Needy? Pushy? Worried about clicks? I like him.
Although Lebron praised Denver, I get impression that Lebron just made the “retirement” comments to put the attention on himself and take away from the nuggets.
Reggie is sooo on point about lebron taking away from the nuggets. I also don't put it past lebron to say that knowing it will take the talk away from him just being swept. He's very shrewd like that. Also, where is the pistol Pete college love?!
When a Hall-of-Famer starts blushing because somone compared him to Jimmy Buckets, you know the old heads have respect for what Jimmy is doing right now.
Greatest college players: I can’t believe neither of them mentioned David Thompson or Austin Carr. Both were the nemesis of UCLA, my childhood favorite team.
@@michaeldavid6284 DT the Skywalker with the 42” vert. Pistol Pete was way ahead of his time and I sadly failed to appreciate his virtuosity and showmanship.
I’ll always have love for Reggie and all the memories he created here for us Pacers fans. He’s great in his capacity as a commentator/ play by play guy. 8 points 9 seconds ♾️
Bird was injured in 1983, didn’t even play all 4 games (and he was a player that played considerably hurt a whole lot).. when the Celtics got swept by the Bucks. Magic was injured in 1989 and also didn’t play all 4 games when the Lakers got swept by the Pistons (he played all 4 when they were swept in 1983 though).
He is just saying LeBron gets overly crucified for this sweep. Man is 38 playing in his 20 years. Others should have stepped up more esp someone like DLo
Greatest college players has to include Gail Goodrich - UCLA who took the Bruins to Wooden's first two titles. In the two final games of the two years against Michigan and Duke, Gail scored 40 and 42 points. Even without the two titles Gail was one of the great college players and a great pro player.
College Career guys would have to be Kareem, Laettner , Oscar Robinson , Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlin, Pistol Pete . I would throw out the idea of Kemba Walker because of his dominance in the amazing run he took UCONN on in the Big East Tournament and NCAA March Madness.
Man I can’t wait until Lebron really retires so the national media is forced to pay attention to other players and teams. And no he’s not retiring, he’s doing what he always does after he loses, he’s changing the narrative, making it all about himself instead of the Nuggets just sweeping his team, and the media eats it up.
Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson had great college Careers. Danny Manning was the best College player I saw in person. Kareem and Walton were dominant. Al Horford and Joakim Noah had great college careers. Jordan hit the game winner but that team was all about Perkins and Worthy all year long.
Reggie is so good. Top Drawer. BTW the best artwork in studio, 2nd RICH ROLL (the shipping container studio) 3rd DAN PATRICK yes Dan your studio is a piece of artwork, a museum piece.
I would make the argument, strongly, that Carmelo Anrhony's 1 season at Syracuse was better than anything he did during his NBA career. OIts hard to list Top 5 moments that Carmelo had as a Pro
Lakers need an actual point guard and quality subs for Anthony Davis and Lebron. Must limit Lebron and Davis to 32 minutes per game. Get those and you probably win it all.
Better college careers then Jordan. Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Lew Alcindor, Bill Walton, Patrick Ewing, Olajuwon, Larry Johnson, Danny Manning, Christian Laettner, and Pistol Pete. Thats 10 players thats better college careers then Jordan. That list also doesnt include any UNC players or Wilt Chamberlain.
During basketball season, especially the playoffs, I want to hear what Reggie Miller has to say. "Father/Mother Time" has an arm around The GOAT Lebron James. When it happened to my Grandpa, who was THE GREATEST MAN I ever knew, it was bound to happen to King James. I believe that if The Lakers can aquire a legitimate 3rd "option" like Kyrie, then it ain't quite over. I do believe that 5-7 year's ago Lebron would have won a Championship with this roster.
Stopped watching NBA since they became the BLM league and I have no idea who Jokic is and definitely didn't know he was back to back MVP. How about dem Florida Panthers!!!
Sports media purposely pick and choose what Michael Jordan losses count lol some can’t be mentioned just because. And then they create this narrative like dude had a perfect record. Forget about all the times he got swept, or when he got dominated by Shaq and Penny. Or he was sent home every year in the first round. That magically doesn’t count anymore. But Lebron….yeah we gonna point out every little thing. I Still thing MJ is the goat but come on!
Lebron pondered retiring to shift the slander that was going to come. And of course Nuggets are the best team he faced in LA since they swept him. It's all disingenuous
LeBron ain't retiring. Lol he still got some gas in the tank. But he will want to get a lil more help. HE ALSO WONT GET HIS JERSEY RETIRED AS A LAKER. Miami and Cleveland, definitely
Old heads from the 90's are soooo blind. MJ never made it out of the Sweet 16 his sophomore and junior year. Cmon man MJ Top 5 College Player? What is he smoking?
Lechina wants leverage he's done this everywhere he's gone..... he wants to hold the team hostage to make them bring I'm kyrie or a few of his boys... it's sad for lechina as jordan never did this that's why Jordan's the goat.
Agree with Reggie. Look bron is great, it’s those drama and narrative shit, flexing that I hate about. Just right after he was sweep in come bron pulling a rodger. He did the same also when warriors sweep him with that hand cast. Joker and crew deserve their moment flowers. They just beat a very very good lakers team, not just that sweep them. Nba is not just lakers and bron. Common man.
