There is a human tendency to like lyrics that are ambiguous. Happens a lot with songs.

There are a couple of songs that I liked as far as I wasn't looking into the lyrics. So it might make sense to treat music, all music as if it's text are completely nonsensical "word salad".

And i think you will find a lot of people that agree with this view, just be sure to separate rythm from lyrics, it also works the other way around, some songs have beautiful lyrics but awful rythm.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I do not. If you're born without it you have to practice A LOT to acquire it. And don't worry if you're not listening to music with its full potential (rarely people do). What you can do is look for "Ear Training Exercises" online. Practice those regularly and you'll start recognizing more patterns inside music and enjoying it more!
