About the book THIS IS MARKETING, it's not a book teaching techniques of marketing. It's not a step by step of how to create branding or stuff. It's about the core of marketing and what is considered a good purposed-not-spamming-marketing. It's one of my favorites book about this subject

17:38 I'm jealous! lol I miss my younger years when I could sleep for hours. I would stay up late (always been more of a night person) but sleep until afternoon the next day without waking up. Now, I'm lucky to get 5 hours without randomly waking up somewhere in the middle. I have to be extremely tired to sleep more than 6 hours. On the bright side, I have plenty of energy with 5+ hours of undisturbed sleep and I'm quick to get a nap in when I can. Not that I need it.. just a good nap in the middle of the day is sometimes a good refresher. Beats coffee energy drinks or supplements any day of the week. I feel like naps for employees should be mandatory by law. 😅

26:55 I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on what comes after the social media era of content creation. Especially once the market becomes saturated with AI generated content competing with itself. We're starting to see bans on certain platforms, and bills promoting age restrictions... Perhaps we can reinvent the concept of microeconomies where local businesses sustain one another... offline, and face to face.

That’s a great question, I have no idea what’s next but I do agree that content “creation” will become oversaturated and hard to sift through to find the good stuff. In my world, conferences/events seem to be coming back with a vengeance so maybe that supports your point about offline microeconomies. Buckling in for the ride 😬🙌🏽

Latasha: “I sleep in late” Me: Oh that sounds so nice. I wish I could do that. I basically wake up at 8…. Latasha:”I wake up at 8” Oh… 😂I was getting jealous for a moment because I forgot people wake up at like 4 or 5 regularly and 7-8 is a late morning for most people.
